I have a payment request pending since October 19th (well, that's almost a month) at StockXpert. Anybody with same experience?

3 months ago last week I requested that all my images be removed from StockXpert and thinkstock. I got a very snippy email back from them stating that since my contributor agreement gave them 90 days to remove the files, they were going to take every bit of that time, and there was nothing i could do about it. This is the attitude of the istock crowd when they get a property such as StockXpert, where they don't even have to pretend to care about the contributor. And I have been getting payments every month. Yesterday i sent them an email demanding removal of 4 images that remain on the site past the 90 day deadline, and they emailed back that they would get around to it when they could. These guys are making Lobo look like a nice person, and that's not easy. Bottom line for you is maybe they'll pay you, maybe they won't. They'll think about it.

Five minutes ago I got an email ( very nice and helpful attitude)  stating that all my files have been removed, and if I needed any other help, please let them know. Pure coincidence I'm sure.

In a word, yes.  Smiley

I sent StockXpert an email yesterday around 7 a.m. PST inquiring about my payment from Oct. 19, and they paid me about 4 hours later.  Hopefully you got paid, too, Dook!

Same here, requested on Oct 19th ~ i got paid yesterday.
Check your acct, should be in by now.

In all honesty, i sent two emails and they were very biz/nice with the responce.
Basically the delay was cause of a internal problem.

Im still curious how long it normaly takes when everything goes smoothly.
No one seams to know?

on the site it says something about 14-17 days being the norm?

The site still has StockXpert's old policy of a 3-day turnaround listed.

made me re~check, this is fwhere i got it from ~ the FAQ:
So accordingly the wait was not too long. What like 17-18 days?

"03 How do I get paid and how long does it take?

We use two well known money transfer services, Paypal and Moneybookers, or you can request a check by mail. Electronic payment requests are usually processed within 14 workdays. Check requests are processed at the beginning of each month and the checks are sent out at the middle of the month. We strongly encourage the use of Paypal or Moneybookers for fast and reliable payments"

Odd? I asked about removing images and here's what I got.

Thank you very much for your email.

Please delete the files from your StockXpert account. It may take up to 90 days for the Hemera collection to update.

Please let us know if you require further assistance.

In other words they answered I should delete my own images using my StockXpert account and be patient. I wonder why the big difference?

Here's the reply to asking about closing the account:

Thank you very much for your email.

You can request a final payout and close your StockXpert account. All your images will be removed from thinkstockphotos as well.

Please let me know if this is the way you would like to proceed.

What? Do they have Jekyll and Hyde working for them and I'm just getting lucky?  Grin

Thanks, but still nothing. I hope it will be soon.

I'm glad to hear they've gotten nicer. Keep in mind that just because they say they will remove your files doesn't mean it will really happen. As the saying goes "trust, but verify". They told me all files would be removed, and only started the 90 day clock after several direct inquiries. It was a long process.

I was not aware that we still showed earnings in our stockxpert account until I followed this thread. I thought our files were all transferred to thinkstock and sales paid through our istock account. Going to my old stockxpert account I found $55 in my account and requested a payout.

That's EXACTLY what happened to be, only a long time ago now.
