It occurs that a lot of photographers still have default 5$ on their stockxpert balance. Let it do something useful. Why not to buy image from other contributor portfolio, just to round up a sum, since minimum payout doesn't matter this time. I propose to show links on your StockXpert portfolio here, to exchange this 5$ favor thing

I would be for this since I am $1.20 cents from next payout. Here the link: http://www.stockxpert.com/browse_image/profile/tsmarkley

Aren't we supposed to be able to transfer our contributor earnings to IS somehow? Has anyone figured that out?

You can transfer buyer credits to IS, however contributors can not transfer earned credits. You can either request a one time payment from support at StockXpert, or leave it there and cash out with earnings from TStock which will be added.

It's as clear as mud, hence it took a lot of digging to solve the mystery of transferring credits.

You can request a final payout regardless of the amount you have by deleting all your images and mailing support. They will then close your account.
You will only be able to transfer buying credits if you have any.

Sure thing. But isn't much easier and more fun to spend your buyer credits to a small gift for fellow contributor, than crash your head with complicated money transfer?

Deleting my 800 images took about 5 minutes. emailing support took less than a minute. it gets transferred via paypal. it takes about a minute to click the buttons on paypal to transfer to my bank account. done. I guess I didn't think it was that complicated.

I blame my english for this misunderstanding, but what I said relates to buyer credits, not your earned credits. Can it be transferred with such grace in two clicks?

Leon, I think that it's a great idea! If I had any buyer credits, I would take your suggestion immediately.

Ok, I just did that.  Why do I assume it can't possibly be that easy?  But we'll see.

Deleted my port and requested final payment of 46.90. Hope I did this right and get the payout.

Deleting my portfolio is more of a PITA.  I deleted all the folders but I move most of my images in to the "home" folder.  Never liked having all those folders.  Can't find a way to delete that.  Clicking every image tick box for 170 pages will take a while.  I have contacted support but if that is the only way, I am in trouble.

I'd wait until 11 Feb before deleting the photos - buyers still have until then to use up credits.

I'm not sure you are going to get an answer. The way I understand it, if you cancelled your account and requested payment, on Feb. 11 your account will be cancelled and they will automatically send you your last payout. You will continue to make sales until Feb. 11, even if you deleted all your images from your account.

Exactly...that's what they told me after I ask for my account to be closed and finally payout.  I have no reason to believe they would do otherwise.

How do I get sales if I deleted the images?

They take a few days to remove them.  I was getting sales for a few days after I opted out of subscriptions.

Apparently they are deleted from my account, but are still on their database, because I cancelled a day or two ago and today I had 2 sales.

From StockXpert:
"The StockXpert website will continue to exist and will be accessible after this date (02/11/2010) for certain functions. You will still be able to access all of your account information, download history, and purchase receipts. StockXpert will still function for contributor payouts. And if you contribute images to the soon-to-be launched Getty Images subscription site we announced last month, you will still receive your royalties through your StockXpert account. If you aren't receiving any new royalties from the subscription site, you can request a one-time final payout by contacting Support."

So, if you have images on Thinkstock, you have to keep your StockXpert account active. I guess if you delete it, you won't be able to receive royalties from Thinkstock.
