Topic: Payment delays....what's up?

Doesn't StockXpert's site say they will issue payouts 3 days after a request?  I have been waiting a week for a payout.

Can't find any threads on this so maybe I am the only one.  Anyone else having payout delays at Stockxpert?

Hope this is not a reprise of the paypal problems they had a year or so ago.... Sad

I requested June payout on July 1st, and received it on my paypal account the same day.
Hope you'll receive yours soon.

SAME HERE!  I sent an email to support via StockXPert...used 'contributor payments' as the subject.  I got back that the guy that takes care of this issue is on "vacation".  I'm about ready to pull my hair out.

Ok...I dug around...found the number to call for JupiterImages.  I explained why I was calling and the lady was super nice, took my user name put me on hold.  When she came back, she confirmed someone was "out of the country" lol.  She's got my number and said she'd call back today or tomorrow.  I also mentioned I wasn't the only one with this issue.

 Cool

I saw Stitcher's post on the StockXpert forums and responded that I also haven't received my payment.  Requested it July 10th.   Angry

I remember when the reviewer went on vacation last year and there was chaos.  I hope they can get someone to cover for this person in the future.  Could be inconvenient for us if they are off sick for 6 weeks Smiley

We do hope too, but it may be that after paying you they emptied their coffers.

I wish you were right, but unfortunately (or should I say fortunately) the payout I requested would certainly not make them go bankrupt Wink

OMFG!!!  Really??  One guy goes on vacation so none of us get paid?!!   Is StockXpert some mom and pop shop run out of somebody's basement?  They're owned by Jupiter Images.  This sounds like complete baloney to me.

Don't get me wrong, I am sure you are telling the truth Stitcher, but I am not so sure Jupiter is.   I just don't believe any company of that size could possibly be run like that.

Edited to change "Inmagine" to Jupiter Images.  Oooops!  Sorry for the typo Smiley

Why not? having the resources  means one could indulge them. SV is also run like that. Nothing is new under the sun.

I don't know when I requested my last payment, that doesn't show on their site, but on their site, my account says the last payment was June 26 but my paypal account shows the deposit going in on July 1. So much for 3 days.

But then I've noticed slower payments from all the sites, off and on. They seem to take turns.

I agree with Lisa...one guy going on vacation so payments don't get made sounds lame to me. But then I see crap like this going on at a lot of companies (the one I work for full time included) and I just don't see how they stay in business.

Welcome to the USA, the new third world country.

Uh oh...you got me started on a rant.  Shocked

Lisa StockXpert is owned by Jupiter,  it's 123RF that's owned by Inmagine.

Ooops!  Thanks for the correction RT!

Good thing I didn't call Inmagine and raise a stink with them Wink

Hi Guys,

It's Peter from Stockxpert. I'm sorry about the delay, the whole StockXpert team got together this week for a very important meeting so I got behind schedule with payments. Nobody went on vacation, and vacations do not affect our business anyway. I wonder why customer service said such a thing (maybe because I had to travel a lot?) but I'll look into it Smiley

Someone mentioned when the queue got out of hand last year. Well, back then our main admin had to undergo a sudden and unexpected surgery, which is a bit less likely than catching a cold for example in which case people can still do their jobs. I'm just mentioning this because I don't enjoy reading rumors and malicious comments. Constructive criticism is always welcome.

As for the frequency of payments, when I started the site I decided that I would try to pay everyone within 3 workdays. It's not a guarantee, it does not happen all the time, but since I send payments twice every week, in most cases you will get your money within 3 workdays.

Thanks for reading.

Best regards,
Peter

Just got mine too!  Thank you Peter.  The only reason I was so concerned, was that I requested it on a Saturday, so then the mind got to working and worrying over if there was a glitch, a problem with Paypal, or a possible problem with processing.  So I hunted down the number and called.  I will say, Peter, customer service is A++ excellent.  The lady I dealt with called me back as promised.  I was worried I would get the "Send support and email", and no one would deal with me.  I was very pleasently surpised!

** The email (support), spit back an automated, with the message that the person was on vacation lol.  The lady on the phone said that people were traveling...so "she" got it right lol.

 Grin

Happy to report mine came through on Saturday (I wasn't online so didn't discover til this morning).

And another request made around 10AM this morning has already been paid out!

Many thanks to whoever the person is who is working on getting payouts out.  They are coming at record speed now!  Smiley
