Topic: Slow views, quite odd

When I had an image approved in StockXpert, it generally quickly got many views even in the first 24h.  The recent uploads however haven't got any so far, some 2 days online already.  I checked the search with some keywords, they're coming up.  Is it only me?

Sales are still there though, even if not as good as last week.

Regards,
Adelaide

It has been like that for a few months.  They changed the default search engine and older images are higher up the search.  It slowed down sales at first but they are good again now.

My new ones hardly get any views as well. I'm not going to complain though, so far this month they are neck and neck with Shutterstock for my #1 earner.

I find the best way to get views for a new photo is to put a comment on the home page once a week.  That brings lots of views and usually at least one sale http://www.stockxpert.com/browse.phtml

Thanks for the explanation, I didn't know about this change.

Money is still pouring in, so I guess it doesn't matter much.  Indeed, older image sare selling well.

Adelaide

I did this regulary for about eight weeks. The individual images got loads of views, but no extra sales. I think it is mainly other photogs who are looking at the competition!
