In the Philippines it's an industry. I have some acquaintances that do it. They spend some hours per day in a netcafe to start, later when their business takes off, they buy a laptop and do it from home. They call it "work".

Don't laugh, you would be surprised how much money they catch from gullible Westerners. When they "earn" a small fortune, once in a while, after their trip to Western Union, they treat all their friends and "colleagues" at a small party.

I am so thankful that this forum (MSG) exists for exposing such frauds, because this line from the email:

"(Remember the distance or colour does not matter but love matters a lot in life)"

nearly got to me. I mean, for a while I was believing that someone with such depth of feeling could not possibly be a scammer/spammer. Thanks for clearing that up.

The header was enough for me. I couldn't even be bothered reading the rest but the thought that some mangy minx from manilla has managed to bend the emotions of some fellow snapper is just too hard to fathom. No disrespect but I regard most of the people on this forum fairly switched on. Or at least I did until now
