Topic: StockXpert low in august?

(Read 4091 times)

« on: August 29, 2008, 01:46 »

I used to earn about 100$ per month from StockXpert (3500+ images online), but July and particulary August was very low - 30$ total in Aug. I hope it is just summer slowdown, if not, I wil consder stop uploading new material there if I dont see at least $50 per month in september.

How is your expirience with StockXpert in august?

P.S.
Also, I should add 123rf, they are low too last 2 months (20$ per month). If I dont see raise of income when I upload new material, I wont be bothering anymore with them. I wont close account, but wont waste time on uploading new either. We shall see how september will go.

I have had a good month at StockXpert.  3rd Bme.
123 started off really slow but caught up at the end and I'm only 10$ down on last month with 3 days to go to catch up.

StockXpert is lower for me this August than in August 2007.  That is bad, as my overall earnings on all the sites are up and I have a much bigger portfolio.  They need to raise the subscriptions commissions.  30 cents is the lowest of the big sites.  I made more before subscriptions were introduced.

I'm still waiting for StockXpert to start making sth (since february), but my images doesn't seem to get many views... I have 2 which has about 300 views and all the others have less than 30. I'm not sure why... is it my keywording? but I keyword images for all sites the same (except istock) and they work well.

August is down about 40% compared to July. Mostly due to many sub sales and only a few sales of vector formats. Considering opting out the subs.

I have just opt-out of subs, and partner licencing.

Just to test how september will go.

July was OK for me, but August is definitely peculiar. It started so well, but in the middle of the month the sales abruptly stopped - and I have seen just a subscription sale now and then since. My earnings there are about half of those in July.

As I wrote I had seen just a subscription sale here and there lately, I am obviously IN subscription. Does anybody think the sales might possibly improve if I signed OUT?

Well, I initially opted in to subscriptions, then I opted out and that is when my downloads dropped dramatically for August. I opted back in to subs and now it is like I have to start all over again with the views and the ranking? Or at least it appears that way.

I opted out when we had all the controversy over photos.com and noticed higher earnings but now that I have opted back in the sales have stayed high so I think that a lot of it is just coincidence.

My StockXpert sales are right in line with what they were in June and July.  No noticeable drop, but no huge bump yet from Photos.com.   April and May were better,  but they were before the summer slowdown.

123RF I am on track to have my worst month of the year.  Don't understand it.  They are accepting most of my uploads, and I am doing all the promoting their site allows (free section, faves) but can't grow my income there, and now it appears to be shrinking...

Huh

Not a BME, but until a couple of days ago, when I last checked stats, StockXpert was my best earner in August. August was overall quiet for me.

Regards,
Adelaide

Well on my way to a WME there.  I think StockXpert is about a $0.10 ahead of SV this month for me.

I just started uploading here about the same time as the photos.com flap started.  I had a few sales immediately, but NONE in the past couple weeks.  'Course my port is still growing in size and quality (at least I hope so)...

For me is still BME but I am starting from zero so I got 50% more every month and still it's 1/10th of what I got from SS :-)
