From their forums:
Quote
Hi everyone!

There are a few factors which explains why the wait for images reviews are longer than they used to be. The first is that we have experienced a few technical difficulties in the past few months. The second reason is that more and more people are interested in contributing to the site which means there are many more images to review. We have new Editors on board but it takes a while to get them trained and up to speed.

As for reviewing newer images before older ones, I can assure you that we are not playing favorites by any means. Unfortunately we are constraint by the tools we have and in some cases newer images will be reviewed before older ones.

There are exciting changes coming soon on all ends of the site which will greatly improve everyone`s experiences. We greatly appreciate your patience and understanding and rest assured that we are doing our best to get to your images.

Thanks!!

It's funny that vectors that I submitted 4 days after the photos are selling already and photos are still pending.

Hi guys,

I love reading all the theories here about our review times. Smiley

So I will answer some questions.

First of all vectors go into a completely separate queue than photos. Vectors are reviewed by a different team, so photo time and vector time have nothing to do with each other.

And photo review order is completely random. When the site was built, they wanted something that was basic and functional out the door. When review times were 24-48 hours, this was not an issue. And we are committed to returning review times back this time frame.

As I've said before, if your images have not been reviewed within a week's time, send a note to me or to CS through the "contact us" form.

Thanks!
-Steve

How is the popularity ranking determined? Wouldn't like my photos to be burried under a lot of other photos because of that, it's enough that they get burried in the date ranking by the quickly reviewed photos.

Popularity is determined by some weighted combination of downloads, date, views and some other stuff (not sure the exact magical formula).

Date is review date, not upload date.

Thanks!

even as a newbie, StockXpert has never been one to take a long time to review,
in comparision to the others that could go into weeks (zzzzz).
But as my acceptance improved and my sales started coming in, yes,
i too, has found my review to be almost overnight.
even for re-submits.

that being said, it also means you get a rejection just as fast Grin Grin  Grin

but still, i do like StockXpert big time, as when i resubmit to correct what they ask me to do, it gets approved equally instant . cheers StockXpert! Cool

Lately reviews have only taken a day or so.  Today I uploaded 3 images around 9 am, and they were approved by 11 am.

Yes few hours or a day for the maximum. StockXpert review times are the very best of micros I think.

It seems the rumors about more images & more sales = faster review times is true.  I haven't waited 24 hours for a review since I passed 500 images online and $20 earned.  It seems they want to help me now. lol

I still can't get a folder fixed...but it's only 60 files.  No worries, I guess.

I had a batch of 10 photos that I put descriptions to. I submited and checked the status right away.   All approved except the last one I keyworded.   They must have it on automatic during the summer?  5sec reviewtime:)

I uploaded 45 images yesterday (Sat) morning and am still awaiting review.  Perhaps their automated summer system doesn't work on weekends  Wink

Something is strange in my potfoilo here!?

Last month I have approved 100 % of my uploaded photos!
Also review time is very short, maybe couple of hours very often, but never more than one day.
But I haven't yet any sales here for a three month, only here, of big 6...
