Topic: StockXpert slowed down reviews?

Never.... seen it like this.   I usually have less than 24 hours review...  even down to  the first pic in a batch is reviewed while I'm still uploading others.   Really slow... maybe it is the height of vacation season at  StockXpert.??    Cool-tom

Reviewers may be away somewhere, but buyers are not.  Great sales for me today - 6, a record for me (my standards are low, I know).

Adelaide

Wow, a 100% approval rate on 573 images ... that's quite something.
Way to go Perrush, I hope your sales are equally fantastic!

well, first day -> no sales ...

Re: "Yep a good sales day yesterday and image got reviewed within less than 24h. Seem to come and go together."

Well, mine have been waiting for over a week now, and I don't like to see others get theirs approved faster. I realize I may not be the busiest or best photographer on site but this bugs me.

Sales are rocking, what happened?  Any new strategy?

we have had a bunch up there waiting to be reviewed for quiet a while.... weeks- some from sept. 1st others from the 5th

also sales have slowed for us completely- to a dribble-

we were selling 1 or 2 a day and now it's like one a week.

maybe we should email support with this, because it sounds like everyone else is all caught up and things are going fab-o......  Roll Eyes

I have some that haven't been reviewed for about a week but sales are good, so they can take as long as they like.

Glad to hear sales are strong for some of you. Overall revenue continues to climb.

We just hired another reviewer, so that should help move things along soon. I think we will be hiring one more as well. We also have the JI editors pitching in when time allows.

Just know that your images are not being ignored. We're working on it.

Thanks again for your patience and very sorry for the delay. Wish I had one of those easy buttons right about now. Smiley

Thank you for the update Steve,
But I see some photos uploaded on 10th of sept and they are already approved while I have many files awaiting since sept the first.

I hope review is done by upload date, which I think fairest way.

btw I am happy with sales too.

regards

23 days..no reviews or sales...really sad since StockXpert was on clip to be the best month in August. Now its just turned to crickets in reviews and sales (sigh)...

...and Leaf's right...thanks SteveOh for at least being visible.

23 days..no reviews or sales...

and some contributers(no offence intended) lucky enough to get their files reviewed within a day.
if you go to new images date descending you will see some images that was upload on 11th of sept.
I am sorry but this doesn't sound very professional to me.

I hope things will go back to normal soon

A folder with 11 images uploaded on the 23rd of August.  4 were approved within 24 hours and 7 images still sit pending along with anything uploaded since then.

StockXpert has overtaken Lucky Oliver for last place on my list!

OK lesson learned!  Overnight my folders were all cleared, but the reviewer (obviously a reader here!) found a new reason for rejections.. "upload better pictures"   ...hmmm, same images already selling on SS & ISP ... oh well, not the place for sport I guess.

Also now require a model release for feet and legs, but the whole back of someone is fine.

I started this whole project into microstock as a personal learning exercise..   days like today only make me shake my head at the whole lot.

Off to shoot better pictures!

This is starting to look weird. I've uploaded on a more or less daily basis recently, but nothing has been reviewed at StockXpert since 26 August. I have almost 80 photos in the queue, and for those uploaded yesterday, no thumbnails/previews have been generated.

Sales at StockXpert are picking up though   Smiley

I have a folder full of grab shots from various soccer games.  (No releases of course).  I've had time to touch up 4 or 5 of them.  FYI, this week StockXpert took 1 of 4 of mine, didn't want the rest - legs kicking soccer ball, etc.

Remember JC-SL we had a thread about all the cloning required for sports.  I don't imagine I will get back to that grab-shots folder until I'm caught up with everything else!  Maybe next summer I'll go straight to the parents, "Hey, who wants a free 8x10 of their kid?  Just sign this!" which might make all that cloning a little more rewarding.
