Congrats! cclapper  :D

Thanks for the congrats, all. I am noticing an increase in google alerts and registrations on my SY site that look like they could be future buyers and a general overall sign of things moving in the right direction. Far from the goal, but getting there.

And I just received an email from SS saying I got a raise. I passed one of their milestones and now I get a couple more cents per image.  :) for the raise,  :( that it's pennies and not dollars.

Take that sale and bring her to McDonalds. With that sale its an all-you-can-eat if you work the dollar menu right!

Woo! congrats SC, nicely done. Happen to notice where the buyer came from - Google or via the network?

Might even let her get one of those foo-foo late drinks.

Are you using Google Analytics? Check your traffic, then look at the Landing Page. If the Landing Page = your sold image, then you can figure out the source easily.

You can put Goals into Google Analytics. I haven't done it with my Symbiostock site yet, but with Warmpicture I had goals for the Add to Cart page and for the Download page (which meant the sale was completed).

A little bit code challenged here I have the tracking code but really don't understand where to put it or how.
Any help appreciated.

Get Yoast's Google Analytics for Wordpress plugin, and follow the steps. It'll do it all for you :)

I have never really understand the Goals side of things - if I were to set one up for the two pages you mentioned, what extra information would I gain from it?

I was chatting today to a real buyer who said they had tried several times to create an account on my site and the Sabre anti-spam registration through them out every time! I checked myself and it did! So I've been operating a pretty useless stock agency for quite a while...

Just a reminder to all of us to check the functionality as a new user from time to time. This guy told me that he had meant to tell me that there was an issue, but never got round to it.

Oh no. When you get that sorted out, I'll bet you get some sales pronto. I am going to do a test buy tonight...haven't done one in a while, just to make sure all is ok on my site.

I have the same issue.
You can register but never receive the email with the password!!!

Anyone know what's happening, customers can't buy anything?

Just had our 3rd sale - $5.75

The buyer didn't get his password, but fortunately emailed us, so we were able to sort it out.

May I ask how you handled it? Did you manually create a password for them? If yes, how did you do that? I am going to put a note on my home page, asking for anyone having trouble to please email me, but I'd like to be prepared with a plan on how to handle it. I think I can go into my db and create a user and get an encrypted pw, but if there is an easier way, I'd prefer doing that.
