Anyone who has the plugin and hasn't recieved update notices (should not be many) please contact me leo [at] clipartillustration.com

The only thing that has changed in this plugin is the way it makes an index of sitemaps. Everything else is the same.

SYS sitemap has 28% indexed now and Yoast has 11% but I dont know which images are indexed by both and which are unique. So I'll say I have 28% indexed

These are my figures as of yesterday

/sitemap_index.xml
Web  6,602/4,935
Images 1,255/ 978

/symbiostock_image_sitemap.xml
Web 1,175/1,160
Images 1,175/1,098

I keep getting an error though - the time/date on my blog is coming up as incorrect even after I correct it in settings does anyone have any idea on how to make it "stick"

Kind of funny - though not related - every time I search "Symbiostock" image searches, your right up there with your eye pictures :D. Its just funny. I'm not sure which keywords your targeting, but you landed "Symbiostock" pretty good!

Still stuck and barely moving forward. 59 out of 1244 images indexed.

date   symbi imagemap            yoast image map
6-Jul   1894   521   27.5%      1894   554   29.3%
22-Jul   2201   1204   54.7%      2000   951   47.6%

yoast usually has about the same indexing, but there was a warning on the last update so some images weren't indexed

for webpages:

Web 2,201 1,934

The YOAST sitemap has only 1 image indexed. I'm wondering how that's even possible.

I am using Leo's Sitemap Plugin. I uploaded the sitemap file around two weeks ago on webmaster tools.

Til yesterday it was stuck at 1 image indexed. Yesterday it jumped to 13 and today it was at 31.

Webpages were indexed better. A few days after i submitted pages got already indexed. Currently 442 submitted - 365 indexed.

Are those people with slow indexing taking the time to fill in all the seo data or batch uploading?

I've only worked detailed seo on a few images, and my major posts, while uplaodeing, yet have over 80% indexed.  next step after being indexed of course is WHERE the image shows up

Leo, I've been trying to log in tonight to the SYS site to purchase this plugin. But I can't get in.

Is there a special SYS account setup that I've not done yet? I've gone to Cart and Files/Your Account, where it tells me I must log in. I'm happy to do that but can't find the place to set up an account.

Please advise!

You don't have to log in to get it. It tracks the purchase via cookies.

Unless you purchased it already and can't find it? Let me know.

Guess I was overcomplicating things (as usual). Yes, it worked and I now have my first sitemap. That's cool.

I'm making real progress on my site. Lots more images to get into pages, but what's already there is looking fine. :-)

Thanks, Leo!

Leo

Would it be possible to add Moneybookers as payment option for the plugins, I think some contributors  would be interested as well  to join Symbiostock as Paypal is a pain to use in some countries... ::)
Cheers

I installed Leo's image sitemap generator a week or so ago but it has only updated once and that was when I manually updated it ( I pushed the button to generate the sitemap again).  Originally, I generated the image sitemap and submitted the url to webmaster tools.  The sitemap itself isn't showing the new images I'm adding daily and webmaster tools is indicating that only 7 images have been indexed.  Is there something else I need to do to make the sitemap auto update?

does webmaster tools show any errors or warnings?  I've been getting a lot of warnings lately saying it's taking a long time to access my site (on justhost)

I have gotten some of those warnings, too. JustHost is owned by the same company that owns BlueHost. Did Justhost go down last week (or the week before) when BlueHost did? I am thinking my issues are caused by BlueHost's server issues.

Just one warning (slow responding URL) but it is on my yoast sitemap. The image generator sitemap is clear of warnings.
