People are already having sales on Symbiostock. Perhaps some are having them regularly and are not posting them.

Symbiostock is not merely about leveraging technology - your true viral growth will be in the culture itself.

I'm calling for a group effort to:
  • Clean up Symbiostock - Bring your sites to the next level of professional appearance and help each other.
  • Bring in a wider range of photo and illustration professionals to the network. Please share your successes and how you obtained them.
  • Invent a culture which is appealing to customers. It might be worth making them a part of the network.
  • Don't constrict yourself merely to downloads if you can utilize your site to sell other services.
I'll continue to trickle in a few more helpful improvements, but the ball is now in the court of the community to invent a culture fun for contributors and customers alike.

Please give lots of support to these people:

Although I've mentioned it a few times, I have to slow down and diversify my efforts now. I think the seed has been planted well enough to grow. We simply need everyone watering it regularly.

There are many sites and success stories out there that gained popularity due to ideas alone. Marketing was not needed. Its apparent Symbiostock can be that way - not because of any one person but because everyone had a share.

Thanks again guys!

I started a new thread about cross linking our symbio images thru contact sheets -- these are easy to make, and generate backlinks.  you can use them in your other website, or in blogs, hubpages and many other outlets.  point is, they're easy to make and increase your visibility

if photography isn't your only online effort, consider how you can parlay symbiostock to promote your other sites -- I sell comics & national geographic maps on ebay & amazon -- comics are tough to link with photos, but maps are a natural, so i'm using my symbio site to cross promote my natl geo maps - and paypal makes it easy to sell automatically:
