Has anyone else noticed the following:

1. My account balanced went to zero dollars at the start of the new year, I presumed I'd receive a Paypal payment but four days later I'm still waiting.

2. I've recently received a few images rejected for keywords, they were put back in my pending area where I subsequently removed some leaving only absolutly relevant words, rejected again with no explanation.

The keyword thing is making me reconsider whether it's worth uploading there, for so few sales is it worth my time individually re keywording images that had relevant keywords in the first place. Without any guidance or appeal procedure I think I'll hang back for now.

And before anybody asks yes I sent a message to support last time this happened and received no reply.

Sorry for the confusing information concerning pending payments- we are actually working on some updates for the Dashboard page that will make it much more clear, stay tuned for that.

FYI- royalty payments are always sent on or about the 15th of the month.

Concerning keywording- our editors should be leaving explanatory messages in either case, could you send me your account information (to [email protected]), so I can look into this particular situation?

@Ryan

Thanks for the explanation about the balance and I've sent you an email about the keywords.

I had almost the same thing with keywords. The photos were put back in the pending area, so I removed all the keywords except those where the relevancy is direct and obvious and submitted again. It was rejected with the comment "Unfortunately, we cannot accept this image as it is the second time it has been submitted with poor keywords." No indication was given as to which keywords were unacceptable. For me its a loss, because some of those photos have more than 300 downloads at other agencies.

My balance dropped to Zero as well on Jan. 1st so I thought "Oh goodie, payout time", but nothing happened.

All this stuff happening at IS and (trust) issues at other agencies just add to the stress.

I wonder why such updates are never announced before they happen with a note what to anticipate.
Alamy IMO does a good job at that. No agency is perfect but communication is key.

It's so easy to send out a mass email just to announce that the folks behind the curtains is hard at work and that upcoming changes might affect some features such as XX and YY.

I'm about to give up this whole "fairness" thing.

He said they are working on something that will make it more clear. The information is already in the Contributor FAQ, but it sounds like they are working on making it more obvious for those who don't read the FAQ. :)

As far as the keyword rejection, a while back I got 3 or 4 with that same reason ("second time submitted with poor keywords") ... only I had not submitted the files before. I just moved on. Maybe I will resubmit them some other time.

I have also this morning 90% rejection in my last batch with this message:
"Unfortunately, we cannot accept this image as it is the second time it has been submitted with poor keywords. "
This means absolutely nothing, do you want keywords in Chinese?

I've send an email to Ryan with my account information.
I'm stopping uploading to Veer until I have my pictures accepted and also a real explanation of this lack of professionalism.
