Topic: How to 'process' ftp uploads

Ok, I must be blind, but I can't figure out how to process an ftp upload to veer.

Earlier I thought i happened automagically when you logged info the workspace, but I just uploaded 200 images via ftp and nothing seems to be happening.

Am I missing something?

Go into your Workspace and click on the "Select Files" tab. You can also click on the "New" link right under the word "Workspace" on the right-hand side near the top. The files that you uploaded should be there.

Ok, thanks.  I guess I was still doing it right then. They just aren't showing up. ... hmmm...

It seems like everything that I FTP shows up right away.... Maybe you should contact Veer support.

Hi Leaf -

It looks like you uploaded a batch of files last night our time, and those should be appearing in your Workspace. Let me know if not. I don't see a record of any files submitted before that.

Yeah, umm er thanks for getting back to me Smiley - but it was actually user error (surprise surprise) Embarrassed

It looks like I uploaded the images to Vivozoom instead of Veer - faulty clicking.

I got them uploaded now - thanks for the follow up.  And yeah, just click on workspace processes the ftp images

I have no problem with my FTP uploads appearing.

I am curious what the wait is for images to be inspected though.  Finally had some time to do a couple of hundred submissions and they have been pending for over a week.

Waiting to submit more until I see how this batch fares.

Any word on time frame for inspections?

Lisa, you should be happy that you can upload "a couple hundred" images! I'm restricted to 100 per week. I'm still playing catch-up trying to get everything on Veer along with my regular 20/week upload.

Bummer on the restriction.  I am happy to have the additional upload slots but will hold off on filling them until I get some idea how long inspections are running...

Hi Lisa -

Your latest batch should be processed very soon (it's next!).

I have been trying to ftp to Veer using Filezilla and Cyberduck.  I cannot get either one to work, keep getting "cannot connect to server" error messages.

With Filezilla, I am using the "Quickconnect" and entering "upload.veer.com, my user name and password.  Then I try the long version to connect, still not working.  How are you guys entering your info and getting these ftp sites to upload your images?

Thanks,
 Huh
