Hi there!

I'm the only one seeing massive raise in views in last 2 weeks? it has been 2..5 views per week in average so far. Last week got 33 views, this week has 130 already ... The views seem to be distributed over the whole portfolio .. unfortunately not the same speedup in sales, though. Anyone else see something similar?

I have ~130 pics there.

regards,
k

Same here, at least 400 this week alone but no sales.
Hopefully sales will follow......

Definitely a huge increase in views, the most since I joined.

Yep, here too!
And sales are following modestly for me. one on 3/29, 3/30, 4/1, 4/7... i still have faith in them Smiley

no great sudden increase in views, but a great increase in acceptances. is this a result of people not uploading there anymore?

Yes the number of views for me is up dramatically, sadly the royalties are down almost as dramatically.

Given the huge raise in views (several hundreds %) and no real increase in sales, I'm wondering if the way they record views changed. The views were very low before the change.

Views mean nothing as far as I'm concerned. Sales at Veer have been astoundingly bad for my 270 images. $4+ per month is humiliating enough but when views skyrocket you'd think you'd get SOMETHING in sales wouldn't you? No such luck with this turkey. To top all this off their queue is longer than never. ??

Obviously. It's a really sad reflection of an agency and it's contributors when they start reporting views at all __ let alone when that's the only positive news. Looking like yet another miserable failure by Corbis. They really don't seem to 'get' microstock or indeed the greater market at all.

Maybe time to start a sweepstake predicting the day Veer's demise will be announced? I'll be surprised if it makes it to 2011.

A sweepstakes is a good idea. Put me down for next Tuesday, 8 AM. I can't see management continuing to ride this nag.

Become a Veer Marketplace contributor, today!
"Did we mention that you can make trillions of dollars by selling your images on Veer Marketplace? That number might be a bit high, but once your images are up on the web site, the sky’s the limit."

LMAO .. yeah right .. ok I'm gonna sign up with them finally just because that made me laugh.

enormous spike in views first 2 weeks of april, and a nice increase in sales (not as high as the views though). Nothing amazing overall but enough to be hopeful of further growth

I think Corbis is paying very little attention to Veer, since it's kinda no-mans-land. Review times are the longest in the industry, weird rejections like "awkward model posture" for a kid jumping on a meadow, the spike in views not being followed by sales, etc.
I'm considering taking my stuff down.

I already took my stuff down a couple of months ago, and so far nothing I am reading has made me at all sorry.

Corbis always seems to do these weird furniture rearranging things. Veer was pretty solid for what it was and I don't mean VMP but the company as a whole. Now they are relegated to RF only. How can that possibly work?
