Title: $0.16 royalty?!
Post by: Noedelhap on February 22, 2015, 15:36
Wow, I think I have hit a new low at this agency: $0.16 for an S-sized download.

To my knowledge, a 1 credit S-sized vector should be at least 0.76 euro's, so at level 3 I should be getting 40% of that amount. Most of the time I receive $0.28 or $0.35. So what is going on? Why was it sold for only $0.40?

123 just like DT and all the low earners are pressured with clients moving on to SS, and the only way they can compete is by lowering prices. Contributors should stop supporting these agencies as they do nothing but erode royalties and in the long run they will get less and less market share anyway, but with buyers getting used to the low prices.

That's 40% of the minimum "floor" for credit sales - 40 cents a credit - that they guarantee us even if the item was a freebie or sold at such a huge discount that the actual cost per credit was lower.

I don't get those often (mine are 18 cents per credit); if they started to show up a lot I'd be more concerned

I got a couple of .18 downloads for there small size and I wrote to them to ask about it, thinking that there must have been some kind of technical error, they replied with a convoluted commission structure that I couldn't make out what was going on, I was very disappointed with them and the answer.

I just had a sale for $0. It doesn't have any size listed or sub. It just has 0 all the way across. Does anyone know what this is?

They seem to be having some trouble with reporting sales so far this month.

I had 5 or 6 like that the other day but they eventually showed the correct value.
