Title: 100% or 0% review
Post by: roboz on October 10, 2012, 02:02
I don't really understand how that works:

Anytime my uploads are being reviewed almost simultaneously I get 100% acceptance. But I had now two batches (17 and 40 images) pending for some days. Result: 100% rejected. Reason: poor lighting/bad composition....

Images who are already accepted by SS or others. And images who are anything but bad composed or with poor lighting.

So, what do you reckon, are there work overloaded reviewer, ticking the same rejection box all over again? Or are we even talking about a non-human reviewer with random rejections? Nevertheless: things like that just shouldn't happen. For the benefit of contributor AND agency.

Cheers,

Rob

But I have to be fair and say, that after contacting 123rf support the whole batch is going to be re-reviewed. They blame it on a new reviewer...

Rob

Interesting....at least you got an explanation with "new reviewer". Exact same thing happened to me. I had 15 images. All rejected. All with the identical generic "poor lighting/poor composition". Thinking there was an error, I resubmitted two hours later and within four hours 14 out of 15 were accepted. Happened to me again about a week later. Totally out of character for 123RF. They generally lean on the side of leniency before rejecting. How much longer is this reviewer going to be cashing a 123RF pay cheque before they realize they've made a mistake?

Forever if you just re-submit without reporting it ;)

For the record....I DID report it but they said nothing about a "new reviewer".
