How's it going for those who contribute to 123RF?

I uploaded a test batch there when I started shooting stock at the beginning of the year. 98 images/98 days/$16 sales - a measly 5c/image/month.

Apart from my test batch, I don't plan on uploading anything else there.

I find 123Rf sporadic. I will go a couple of days without a sale, then 10 come all at once!

Better this month the server upgrade last month really screwed things up. A steady but slow earner though I think i got in a the right time filling holes in their portfolio.

FTP, No categories, high acceptance rate, $50 payout

If you have your images keyworded and can spare the bandwidth uploading why not

Plus they are owned by inmagine - one of the big marco sites.  At some point they might put in some marketing money and I plan to be their when they do.

I average US$4.5-5.5 a month there.  This month I had 3.53 so far, so it may end about this average again.  I haven't been uploading much there lately, even though it's so easy.

Regards,
Adelaide

It's not great, but it's improving. Now, at least I have dl's there on a daily basis, and most of the growth come from credit downloads, which sometimes pay quite decently.

Downloads aren't happening on a daily basis, but is always nice to see some credit downloads. With the new payout limit, I've effectively reached two payouts already.

Uploading process is quite straightforward, and the recent revamp gives the site a more lively look. I'm happy to see that they are doing something to improve :)

May and June each were more than double what any other month had been.  Hope it continues this month...

I get DLs every day but they vary in number dramatically (surprising as my portfolio there is fairly large almost 5,000) nothing like the steady bulk volume of Dls at SS so they don't have as many subscribers but the credit sales are good I wish they would set prices for larger sizes such as 8mp.

July is set to be the best month ever there  ;D and they did pay up on Friday.  ;D
