Level 3.  Might of made level 4 but I stopped uploading.  Not going to work harder with sites until the commission cuts stop.  Hopefully someone will come up with a good way for us all to sell direct before too long.

Level 4. I haven't uploaded since they made the announcement  about the cut in royalties and I won't start until they change this cash grab scheme. I'll let my port that's there keep earning and hope business moves away to other sites.

As they're now promoting themselves as the low price leader for RF images, it's not really in my best interests to give them new content. They haven't managed the huge increases in volume that they talked about, so it's not a deal where the volume will make up for the lower royalty rates.

I must say that I did continue uploading in spite of the announcement, just because I had very positive feelings towards 123RF and honestly thought they'd play fair in the end.  Given that they haven't, they will no longer receive new content from me.

As you say JS, the loss of fresh content should cause a shift to other sites, and as that happens it will become an easier and easier decision to pull my port from 123RF entirely.

I'm so sad that it came to this. This was one agency that I felt was really connected to it's contributors.  Further proof that actions speak louder than words.  We know where we stand now.

Yes, I too will withhold further uploads to 123rf in the hope that their subscription buyers go elsewhere for fresh content. Let's hope that sales at 123rf dwindle over the coming year and that their buyers migrate to more favourable agencies. I'll be keeping an eye on the table to the right...

I left this c#ap agency a year back when I realized they were nothing but c#ap. Are you guys telling me that you stand for this total insanity?  a little squirt agency trying to imitate the big mentor ( in their eyes ofcourse) bulldozing suppliers of their livelihood in the same way?
If you do, well all I can say is you must be bloody mad and inviting trouble, because thats what youre doing.

Just get the * out of that place and sharpish.

Down to level 2 for me.
I stopped uploading already, have not decided yet if I will pull my port.

Down to 35%.  Not a high-volume contributor and probably never will be, but what I do put up sells okay.  Can't see how I'd ever get to level 4 under this scheme.  25 cents/sub is too low to bother uploading any more.

the level will only be review on a year base?

hopefully everyone get paid more by more volume even the commission level is different.

On a rolling year base, calculated every month. So you can drop or go up on monthly bases depending of your credits sold in the previous year to that month.

Very annoyed with their attitude. Even more annoyed I need their money otherwise I'd inform them where to go - humbug

Would be interesting to know how much extra income in $ this is taking out of the contributors pockets and putting in theirs.  Obviously they have made the calculations and it is already imbedded into their 2013 budget, therefore the "token" credit sacrifice, befitting maybe 1% of the contributors.

PS Thanks for the thread Luis - makes quite interesting reading.

its a lot of money, looking at the poll close to nobody will have a raise, I would say not even 50 contributors because you need to do over 1k $ per month to reach 52%, they will make enough to spend more on marketing, sure they will  ::)

Down to contributor level 3 - seriously disappointing outcome for months of hard work and uploads made to 123RF.  Looking at the commission restructurings (read as lining the company's pockets at expense of contributor) also done by the likes of Fotolia, Istock etc.,  I feel that these are the people destroying the microstock business by making it increasingly worthless for contributors to commit time and meaningful effort!  Sad.

Yes it is gone. Guess it will be just an old fool like me, hoping still that they might consider my suggestion of adjusting the scale a level down (current level +1) until they have brought in the extra sales they promised?
