Hey everyone!
Good day to you!
Did you know 123RF.com has a feature of "Image Update Notification" for you to receive up-to-date information/notification of your images via Twitter? Have you tried?
You can activate this feature by following the procedure below:
1. Login (https://www.123rf.com/login.php?referredBy=Angel&src=123rfangel) to your account.
2. Go to "My Account"
3. Click on "Twitter Details"
4. Mark the box of "Sign up for 123RF's AutoTweet" feature and press "Update". We'll let you know when approved images are added to your portfolio or when you have had a good day of downloads. All AutoTweets come with your own referral link that benefits you!
When you've done this, you'll start receiving up-to-date notification of your images. ;)
Cheers,
Anglee

Interesting.
Question: If I tweet this and a lot of my friends come and have a look at my portfolio - generating a lot of views per image but no sales - will not hurt my search placement? If the ratio sales/views is a factor in search engine placement, that is.

Does the link include our affiliate code?

I hate Twitter and don't use it. Can't I just have an auto-email regarding acceptance/rejection, as every agency I'm with provides this except 123RF. Finding this vital info is very tedious on your site.
ETA: This information is crucial in seeing how we're doing and what the agency wants. The easier it is to get it, the faster we can get on with our work and gear it towards agency preferences. I don't understand why 123RF makes us jump through extra hoops to get this important information.

It's completely absurd that you want your contributors to use Twitter to receive private information about their accounts. Ever heard of a simple communication protocol named e-mail?

ONCE MORE!.. when will 123RF be profissional???.. is there a way to clean the queue without rejecting massively??.. it is * absurd, how can I agency act this way??

Because we let them by giving them our support ;)

they aren't profissional for sure.. one day 90% approval other 90% rejection.. come on!

twittin' is a one-way communication eliminating the necessity to listen.
Listening is what 123rf seems to do worst! :P

I believe some of you misunderstand the purpose of this feature, as did I at first. It's not for notifying us about activity on our accounts, but for generating tweets for our Twitter followers. It's nearly identical to the Shuttertweet feature that Shutterstock offers. I have it set up to post a tweet on days when I have new images in my port. So far none of my followers has complained, and I even get the occasional Like when it gets forwarded on to Facebook.

I don't use either Twitter or Facebook. I don't plan to do.
So for me it is useless. It may be a nice additional feature, but it is in no way an acceptable replacement for e-mail notifications.

instead of working on useless twitter stuff, please just e-mail us information if we want it.
Also please please please put the # of downloads and the $ earned from our images visible to us somewhere on the site. (or if it is there somewhere, please tell us by some means other than twitter or facebook) (and no, going through month by month and adding it all up ourselves is not acceptable). by the way, I can't even lot on to the site right now.

Hey Xalanx,
We have only three categories of filter in search result: random, latest or most downloaded.
Therefore, the 'View" will not affect your search placement and it's not the factor in search engine placement.

Hey dnavarrojr,
It only includes the link of your portfolio. :)

Hey pancaketom,
Are you able to login now?
Please advise us your UID thus we can check it for you!
Many thanks,

Anglee, you seem to have only replied to those for whom you feel you have an answer.
It would go a long way in improving contributor relations if you would at least acknowledge the point that has been raised regarding email notifications, even if it can't be resolved immediately.
Is this something that will be looked into?

uploaded for the 1st time this year to see if the "mass rejection" button had been duct-taped over. out of aprox 50 images (10 of which are my best sellers on 123 - already accepted), 2 images approved (neither of them were the top 10). I'm done uploading there but will leave my port open as it is worth a payout every month...these guys used to be okay, don't know what happened to them.
edited: all for "lighting/composition"...funny how they were good enuff the 1st time and sell extremely well for them...

Anonymous, it was the acceptance and communication buttons the ones that were duct-taped at 123RF... ;)
