They  just  past  canstock  and  just  85 cent  out  of  1st  place.  They  are  the  best  so  far  for  me,

I'll say it again... 123RF is top tier.   They'll officially be one of the "Big 4" in four to six months.

I very much agree with you!

I've been with them for more then 6 years and this year I've had a couple BME and this month I made BME on the 19th. I feel 123rf is a fantastic site!

123RF is my consistent second place earner and by a large margin. I've seen big increases over the past couple months.

They have increased a lot for me as well and are now clear winners of the middle tier but still have a long way to go to make top tier for me.

I am there for less than a year but they only make me about 8% of what I earn at Shutterstock and are at nr. 4 for me. Would like to know what your percentage is for them compared to SS. I even have 100 more images there than at SS.

For me they make about a sixth or SS,  and about a third of what they do at the other top sites DT, Fot and IS.

ok i'm having a BME too - not saying much! I have more images with them than SS, iS, DT and nearly double FT, and they are still 5th.

Dare anyone say that their marketing ploy and price strategy for 2013 is working...........  8)

After this month I should be on tier 4 (80 to gain from last year to get there).

Will get payout this month and did last, after loosing out for the first 3 months due to the commission cut.

I'm a very happy 123rf contributor with steady increasing payout. 2012 was great but they are improving months by months on 2013

I like their very fast review time of my images (usually).  Sales for me have tended to trickle up this year.. although they only make a quarter or so of my SS earnings.   :)

Well, especially if the rise in sales could have been caused by reduced pricing (especially coming from a reduction in commission), IT IS A HIGH RISK STATEMENT!!!!

I am considering leaving them - lowest RPD for months (aside from lowest earnings generally).

It could be that the people who do well there are selling even more, and the ones who never did well there are selling less and less.  Those who do well probably saw a rise up to Level 6, so the increase in commission coupled with an increase in downloads is leading to a very nice rise in earnings.  I know this is my case, and I'm betting it's true for a number of others.

I was one of the lucky ones that stayed at 50% and I have noticed an increase in the amount of dls and earnings since the change.

For me they're as good as Photodune and Dreamstime but  much better than Fotolia, DepositPhotos,Bigstockphoto and Pond5.

Very good point, but I actually took a % knock starting up on a level 3. My sales amount took an immediate drop due to it and I stopped hitting the monthly payout bracket. Within 3 months though, the volume went up adequately to place me back where I was amount wise and with the points system I will now probably go up to level 4, speeding up my income rise beyond the point it was when the new system was introduced.

Thus, in short, I survived the commission cut (full recovery) and should be able to reap now the further benefit of increased sales.

I guess anyone who started the new scheme on a low level 3 or lower will take proportionally longer to recover.

I'm having a BMY there in May.  Very welcome, considering that some other sites have been so slow.

They are still nowhere near my top tier though.
