on the upload images page it still says I get 50%...

? thought they'd dropped us all down?

They have dropped us, its another one of their scams. The RC schedule is hidden as well. Just to lure new contributors in. Criminal.

3. What's the royalty structure at 123rf?
Sample Credit Download Calculation:
A customer downloads a Ultra High Res ($3) version of your photo.
You'll receive = $3 × 50% = $1.50 from that sale.
Subscription Download Calculation:
Straight and easy, you'll receive $0.36 per subscription download!

Yeah, they had a year to make the changes in the FAQs and so on, (and double our sales). Sadly you can't expect them to actually deliver on anything but cutting commission %s though.

that was my thought... all year they've had the new structure graphic up, but on the upload page they've still got the 50% thing.

123 were my "first" so I still hold a soft spot for them. other small agencies with irritating uploads and ridiculous standards can go to hell, but i'll stay with these guys a while longer. I do confess to spending more time with DP than 123 this past month, just to get my port up to speed there; and they did outperform them last month....... interesting times all round.

Truly pathetic that agencies can just make announcements and drop the contributors cut! I'm trying to think in which other business could companies simply start paying their suppliers less without need for two-sided consent or agreement? I think, at the core, the fault lies in contributors simply signing up to one-sided contracts when we sign up with stock agencies. That allows them to mess us about as they pretty much want. We swallowed reduction by Istock, then Fotolia and now its 123RF and next who know which. Thank god for Shutterstock - they seem far more professional and no surprise that they are so well positioned in the business.

Wasn't that promised some time ago, when they introduced their version of Captcha? I thought at the time that was introduced they said it was just a short term thing while the reconfigured a number of things on the site that would bring new features.

yes, they did promise that we really wouldn't notice the lower comms due to higher sales volume.
and now that they've dropped down a notch in my workflow I upload there as my 5th, so my port will grow slower and i'll not see the alleged volume increase. It will be half my fault if things stall.
