Title: a big bug in 123rf porfolio search
Post by: lima on June 02, 2015, 20:54
Hi all, a week ago i find a big bug in 123rf, i want to know if anybody have the same bug in your 123rf portfolio.
Just go to your 123rf portfolio and in the search (in the left side, below the profile) the default selection is "all images" and put in the white space a keyword you allredy know you have in your portofio and see what are the resault, then select "photography" or "vector illustration" and put the same keyword you put before, and see what are the resault...

please tell me if anybody have in the first search a number of files and in the second search this result: Your search did not return any results.

Today i have a long chat with Aquilla, Contributor Support Executive, and here is her mail:

"Hi Ana,

Thank you for contacting and reporting us about this.

I have escalated this issue to our IT for them to check and get it resolved as soon as possible. I will get back to you with more details once I receive any update from the IT team.

Our apologies over the inconveniences caused."

from 123rf:

"Our IT team is still investigating on the issue. From our findings so far, this issue is affecting contributors who have more than just one content type in their portfolio.

As you've reported, the search option within portfolio is only working if the search option is set to "All Images" however, the issue occur when you select the content category to "photography" or "vector illustration".

Thank you for reporting on this issue to us. We will try to get this fixed and resolved as soon as possible. I will let you know as soon as I have any update on this."

I posted this in the other thread, but I have a sale and a refund on an image that is not mine. I can't tell what that has done to my balance as the total earnings they show doesn't match what I've sold with or without the screwy refund. Glad somebody got an answer from support because I haven't.

Something fixed, other are there.
I always had checkbox for editorial checked, never unchecked, but now it is unchecked by default and i have to check it for every image! Stupid move to proof salary of somebody. They answered that photographer have to verify that it is checked. No way to keep default checked! Or they just don't want to tell that they don't want editorial - how many photographers didn't notice this change last month?
