In their FAQ "Contribution to EVO is a by invitation-only". I haven't received an invite

Would still be good to know if anyone sells there.

I have never received an invitation. After my disappointing experience with Fotolia's Infinite Collection, though, I am not all that interested in trying EVO.

interesting question, I forgot all about this and myself haven't been invited. I like 123rf but there just doesn't seem to be a lot of interest from contributors in the site.

I can't get into the forum. When I queried admin, they told me to use Twitter. Is there still activity in the forum?

I think I posted a question about why my images of a "colonial church" were rejected for copyright even though they were pretty obviously over 100 years old (actually 400 years old) and had "colonial" in the title. I checked back weeks later and never got a response maybe I should check now?? I doubt an answer has been posted though so I forgot about it until now.

The following paragraph tells you how to apply.

Yes, you may apply. Send an email to [email protected], stating your interest to be included. We will then get our panel of reviewers to evaluate your portfolio and we will invite you to join our ranks of EVO contributors if you meet the panelist's criteria. The panel meets one every fortnight and will go through the list. No rejection reasons will be given, if you receive an invitation, it will be made known to you as the upload for EVO will then appear in your upload images section.

I was invited and have approximately 70 images accepted in the EVO collection. Though my sales at 123RF are low it is still worth uploading. As far as I can tell I haven’t sell any image from my EVO collection. Since this is some of my best images this is disappointing. I may well lose sales by putting them in the EVO collection where they miss out on regular normal sales.

The EVO collection reminds me of the "side show" of Lucky Oliver. In every search the EVO collection is shown in a side bar with images form the normal collection. Works quite well, except for the lack of sales. For the time being I have stopped submitting images to the EVO collection.

thanks for the info. Yeah, LuckyOliver sideshow - I thought of that too when I saw how EVO results were presented. Lucky Oliver must have been one of the first sites to have a 'premium' collection.
