Or do I really have to go back to each month from 2007-today and delete photos one by one?

It is Dec 31 after all!

There's an old thread from last year I think, that was base on deleting images from 123, can't recall for sure when. But I do remember that someone from their administration explained the process...hope that helps.

It's a whole heck of a lot easier than DT, which is literally one by one, but as I recall from having done it in 2008 - and the interface looks identical now - you have to check one box for each image on a page then click the "Save" button at the bottom. Obviously filter the page to show only accepted images first.

It went pretty quickly as I recall - there's only one refresh per page and it is typically the wait times for the site that are the killer in doing these things one by one. You could always write to support to ask them if they'll do it for you - worst is they say no :)

From the other thread, I think this worked and they were willing to delete the port.  You might think about asking them to deactivate rather than delete the images.  They may reverse or change the policies down the road and it would be a total PITA to have to upload again.

Yeah, not sure what to do.  I was thinking I shouldn't delete the account until I get paid on the 13th but don't want to make any sales between now and then.

Deleted all my images except one lcv one, as also wanted to keep account active.

Manually deleted images which took about 30 minutes for about 600. Had to tick box for each image but could do 20 on a page.

Well, that was a walk down memory lane.

Bummer that I didn't remove before the 25 cent subs started though  >:(

I wonder if the image counter will also go down

Be careful when deleting your images. They may sell for several weeks afterwards. I'd recommend setting your payout to the highest setting before the end of the month, then when you reach the lowest payout threshold delete your files. When sales stop coming in (or after a month), then set your payout back to the lowest amount and get your final payout.

Just a cautionary tale because I sold $46 worth after I deleted my files, and they pretty much refuse to pay it out until I reach $50. So, I had to upload a couple more files. Hopefully, they will sell soon, so I can be rid of 123 once and for all.

Its a disgrace that they keep selling after you deleted your files.

I wonder if it's partner sales Cory, I can see my shots but when I click them they are no longer available.  THanks for the link Poncke, I'll go look.

it probably is partner sales because most sites say that it can take at least 30 days after acct is closed to get the partner sites shut down. i never understood why that took so long, but thats what they say :(

That's what I assumed it was. Either way, it was annoying. I always joked about Fotolia being run by robots, but they were pretty cool about sending me a final payment under the payout limit. They just asked me to pay a small fee. 123RF, on the other hand, went full robot on me. I thought about asking them if there was a human there I could speak with, but I decided that it wasn't worth fighting with them.

I opted out of partner sites when I started to upload direct to Pond5.  My images from 123RF were still there after a few months and I had to request Pond5 to remove them.  Just looked on the 123RF site and I can't find the opt out option anywhere now, is it still there?

Yes it's there, click on 'my account' and it's in the sidebar on the right.

Thanks, I obviously wasn't functioning correctly when I woke up in the middle of the night, just couldn't see it :)
