I was selected to try out the beta version, you get to search your portfolio by keyword then .You can actually position the watermark anywhere just drag and drop.
It is rather handy for making frames (or pictures or illustrations) with a large blank central area harder to use without paying for.
I know for most of us 123 isn't a higher earner but the micro sites have a tendency to copy good ideas. If only Fotolia would sort out their watermark

I have also received this invitation and tried it on a few images. It's also good when the watermark in placed in front of the most important part of an image - you drag it a little and this parts shows more, yet you can still protect it.
One suggestion I gave was having a preview tool. The way it is set, the image is "greyed" while you position the watermark, so you can't see the final look unless you confirm the new placement.

I don't like to have to deal with new stuff they apply like ranking your own images especially the one on BS I hate it! I think once you upload a photo your job should end there an the rest should be taken care of by the site(agency)
I don't think it'd be fun to go through every single image of mine and try to find best place for watermark,do you?

You don't have to go back and edit your watermarks, they will stay centered as they are today. But if there are cases in which you know that watermarks don't really protect anything, then it's a neat choice to be able to do that.
Can we rank our own images? Or do you mean the "faved" thing?

Thank you Adelaide I know what you mean actually what I meant is that they should have apply it better so we wouldn't need to check them now if they are ok had we given chance to adjust where the watermark should be placed (like SS does) in the first place.
as for ranking I mean yes faving your images on 123 and an on BS there is a thing called 'photographers order' you give some numbers to your photos to sort their order.the ones with smaller number will appear first in your portfolio if the buyer/viewer choose the Photographer's order 'tab.I very recently discovered that and tried to reorder my pic gosh it was such a hassle and I gave up.
apart from editing keyword all other modifications seems to me hassle just my opinion.
