Wow! End of year 2018 is 50% of just 2 years ago.
Wish I hadn't looked...!

25.8% of what I made 2 years ago and 34.3 % of last year. I think 123RF fell off the biggest cliff in the last few years. What was that "exciting news" again?

My last reasonable month on there for me was Dec 2017. It crashed after that and last month it crashed from even those poor levels.

2018 I earned less than half of what I did in 2017.

Terrible.

Sales might be better if they actually reviewed submissions.  Been waiting about 3 months to have last batch reviewed.

It is a company that gives the impression that everything gives the same and do not mind too much selling or not

I did OK in 2018, up approximately 20% from 2017, though my portfolio there is smaller (1778 images).

As someone posted before, we wold all do better if they approved submitted images.  I have some waiting in the funnel for almost a year.  BTW, the last time I sent them a friendly reminder about my pending photos, I went from a 90% approval rating to a 75% rejection rate.

I'm coming to the conclusion that apart from Adobe that's the way they all seem to be run. I don't think the owners have much faith they can wring much more out of them.

As soon as I hit my next payout there, I'm dropping my entire portfolio. Their commissions are disgusting.

The worst thing is they lied to us when they cut commissions and changed the level structure. Sales would double and we would all benefit. Now it shows we didn't. What a surprise.

Dishonesty and lack of respect towards contributors made me stop uploading. I now consider them one of the low earners. They used to be my #4.

Standard pitch to us, we're dropping prices, giving away images, or changing commissions, because that will make you more sales. Has that ever happened anywhere? Of course we're supposed to believe that money won't make us happy.  ;D

That is the way the business world works these days they figured out they could lie and then butter it up in untruths and no one would call them to account.

Then if they do they come up with some woke BS and carry on as usual

Recent (Feb 18) interview with Stephanie Sitt is full of buzzwords and vague statements, including referring to 123rf as their "hero brand", but she wouldn't comment on financials or IPO plans or what they're dong with the companies they acquired in 2017

https://e27.co/interview-stepahanie-sitt-123rf-inmagine-group-malaysia-20190218/

The traffic estimator that Crunchbase uses (and which puts SS's monthly visitors at nearly 90 million) says 123rf is about 1/4 of that. I'm surprised it still that high.

A sample of the sounding good while saying nothing: "While our core business focuses with offering world-class content stock libraries and editing tools to cater for multiple clientele, geography and partners, we are more than just a content company. As a global key player, one of the elements that sets us apart from our competition is our blend of creativity and technology. And so, apart from possessing a wealth of stock content at our fingertips, we offer a more complete solution specifically catered to our customers needs using Artificial Intelligence, content and data, and Machine Learning."

Dear JoAnn I think you could be really good Company stock manager instead of stock producer, you're always deeply informed about the market :-)

She's always up to date and express the ideas clearly. Nice to hear from her. About the topic, what a shame. They are now a bigger company but like a zombie...

I've had very satisfactory results from 123RF since going non-exclusive four years ago.  But I was aware of the various people who had warned that 'sales can drop dramatically, unexpectedly and without any apparent logical reason'.  I certainly hoped that would never happen to me.

Then, starting last summer, my sales at 123RF started to drop sharply.  No reason, no logic, just a crash in sales.  The downwards trend has continued and my income this January was only about 40% of the previous year.  February is worse.

It looks like I have become one of the 'victims'.  Perhaps getting to the higher commissions levels triggered the decline.  Or perhaps the clever algorithm people made changes that adversely affected my positioning.  Whatever the reason, those people who suffered a similar fate over the years and who 'warned' that this could and would happen, were correct.
