Hi - does anybody out there actively submit - and ideally sell! - editorial pics via 123RF? Mainly non-news stuff....objects, locations etc.
Be glad to hear.

1 or 2. Don't really know this type very well i quess.

Sometimes they decide my pics should be editorial and they do sell about the same as RM. I don't set out to sell Editorial except on Alamy

Well I have 2 images that are editorial AND RF at the same time - dual citizenship for pictures ;D

Maybe I am missing something, but there is no link between editorial and RF or RM - editorial is a form of usage. RF and RM are forms of license. They are not linked in any way whatsoever.

I have 13 editorial pics on 123rf. The performance is not encouraging. It is difficult to even know how many times these files have been viewed. The files went online during June 2013. Not sold. My take is, editorial images may be good if you have high-net-worth attached to them. If you are regular contributor looking for solid ground, stay away from editorial images for sometime. If you are on the spot where action is happening, you stand some chance to sell them. Otherwise, no-go area.

Thanks to all. Interesting.
Paus99 - I too have had a couple redesignated by them as Editorial (never sold) but I saw that they have a format for actually submitting editorial...which seems a bit odd if they can just move 'ordinary' photos there when they want....
Anyway, doesn't look very encouraging so far.....
Cheers!

Funnily enough just had a sale on a pic submitted cos Alamy felt it was the wrong kind of camera (Canon SP95) so there is hope!
