surely your sales have doubled as promised? (mine haven't, and have been pretty weak lately).

March was last month when something was going on here.
In April I had 3 (three) sales,
In May I already have 1 (one!) sale

LOL.

I'm just waiting to reach my $50 (so close) and get out of here. If nothing changes, I'll have to wait about 2 years... (not) funny.

Joined them in January this year expecting great things based on their poll results. I've uploaded my port steadily at a rate of 100+ images per month - but my earnings have barely improved on the paltry $22 earned in February. I'm looking at $25-$30 this month with 500 more images online. Rubbish!

I won't be uploading the balance of my port or any new stuff based on these returns.

My sales went up till March 2013, and then April sucked and May sucks harder. It went well, I was actually quite happy with 123, but it seems since March many agencies have started to suck, FT, CanStockPhoto and 123. I am afraid its the DPC thats causing this.

Agreed. Sales appear to be on the slide at 123rf this year. I stopped uploading after the introduction of their RC system. Maybe that's the reason - maybe they are losing sales to DPC..?

Ditto here.

Buyers bailed end of March and haven't returned. At least reflective in terms of my personal sales.  :-\ The slack appears to have been taken up by DT.  :D

Unfortunately yes. Looking at 123 from a 1/2 month perspective, I am at 50% of last month. I don't make much on 123.  I think last month I made $120 US, I am at $30 right now.

I bailed out earlier this year. I never had enough sales to justify the time uploading etc. My port is <1000 so maybe it was just to small.

I have around 1150 files online on 123rf.  Sales figures are :

March : 12
April : 4
May : 6 So far.

I read somewhere, 123rf is seeking new associations and hosting many shows in Asian regions.  May be good times around corner now.

My personal opinion is that one needs 3,000 to 5,000 images to make any reasonable return.  And that gets harder and harder because of the millions of images in the pipeline.  Content volume becomes unsustainable and one must have VERY niche images, hard to recreate to get an edge on the competition. So I agree with you that maybe 1,000 "general" images at 123 isn't enough, but 1,000 high end vectors, illustrations, images that fit that "niche" will kick butt, more than likely.

Hmmm...not sure if it makes me feel better or worse to know that I'm not alone! Sales till March were ok then fell off a cliff...... And with that pesky RC system (!)(resists another whinge!) income will inevitably slide.
Oh joy!
Good times round corner? Somehow I'm not very confident.
Good times were round the corner a while back when the royalty cuts came in with sales due to double and all that - just not sure how far round which corner!

I'm * the trend - if anything I am fractionally above average so far this month, but I only get a scant handful of sales a day there, it's never been very good for me.

(this swearword blocker gets more and more stupid! The word behind the asterisk meant "going against" and didn't start with an f)

Mine have been up every month since the credit system started.  May is down, tracking at 10% from a year ago and 24% from April, but may still recover in the second half.

I used to like 123 until they put in the RC system - that's when sales dropped dramatically for me.  This month so far is just like all of the previous months for the past year - no more changes since the RC fiasco.  My average earnings per month last year were down 27% from 2012 and it's holding steady at almost the identical number so far this year despite adding images. I stopped uploading for seven months after the RC system went in but started again since I was close to going up a level.  Still haven't gone up - it doesn't seem to make a difference there any more.

Hate to rain on parades, but.....

Portfolio of 6000 on 123RF and showing seasonal trends expected in line with other sites but regularly get BME during peaks, even after three years. For example, this month already at higher level than whole of February and January this year, and well above same periods in previous years.

Good site for me. Portfolio of nature, landscapes, food, abstracts, concepts, but no people.

I will the stats speak for themselves- Here is my YTD (2014) numbers (total monthly sales) so far-  I only have 2,600 images there thus a baby compared to the majority of you out there.

Feb                    83
March                79
April                 100
May                   41

I've seen average to good sales there all year, including this month.  Sorry to hear so many aren't seeing the same.

Oh, and good to know you weren't humping the trend's leg as the asterisk implied! ;D

Not even one sale this month... Zero, nothing, 0! It's like silence in eternity...

123RF, why don't you take away your payment limits and let contributor go away with money that are earned?  :-\
