Title: footage - contributor level and commission?
Post by: ultimagina on June 03, 2014, 17:37
I just sold my first footage on 123RF, but I can't find anywhere the footage commission structure.
If an HD clip sells for 65 credits, then my commission was slightly under 30%

Is my contributor level valid for footage as well?

Thanks

Hi Ultimagaina,

Please PM your 123RF UID to me OR email to [email protected] so that we can check it for you.

Have a lovely day.

Cheers,
Anglee

I've had sales where I get as little as $11.10 off a full HD sale Which even using their cheapest bulk credit rates was way lower than my cut should have been. Contacting support each time just gets me a 'we give out special discounts to some buyers' answer in various forms.

That's mainly why I haven't uploaded any of my video there. Pay is too low for full hd and by the way it's another site that by these special deals is further cheapening the visual creativity market.

I've stopped uploaded new clips there. Have considered deactivating my account, but not sure about that yet.
