Title: FTP uploads not appearing

I know this has been discussed in the past, I'm curious if its an issue for anyone else at the moment?

I just uploaded approx. 175 photos through FTP, but only 65 of them have shown up on the site for adding data to.

Just uploaded 35 without a problem. With that many you might perhaps just have to give it a bit more time. Remember there are a few thousand uploads with yours, so the last ones you uploaded might still be in the processing queue. I would say if they are not there after 12 hours after you have stopped uploading, then you may be concerned.
