Title: ID card upload (newbie question)
Post by: cookielaser on January 29, 2010, 20:06
Hi everybody!
I'm new on 123rf (and in everything microstock as well). I noticed you had to scan & upload your ID card / driver license to get approved on 123rf. So here's my questions:
- is it mandatory?
- do you have to get through the same process for other microstock websites or is 123rf an exception ? ;)

Thanks !

I think most sites requested an ID.

What I did was to add a diagonal line over it saying something like "for identification at ..... only". Someone told me by then that this should avoid any incorrect usage of my ID.

You can trust 123RF very well. They are an established site for years. I do like Madelaide, put a watermark over it. I also use my passport that doesn't have any address info. Don't use an ID with address or financial info.
