Title: incoherencies in the recording of earnings
Post by: Dog-maDe-sign on September 04, 2015, 09:14
My download page at 123RF, at September 4, shows 2 sales without kind of licence and earnings.
My earnings page show 1 sub sale, for 0,25 $, at the same date. Which kind of problem they have?

I had the same issue this morning, eight sales showing zero earnings and licence but it got fixed now so maybe it was just some delay in reporting. They are all subs though, as I could have expected  :'(  :D

It got fixed now for me too. But the incoherencies undermine trust in the business! I hope will never happen again!

They have had inconsistencies between the different pages that report earnings for years. Eventually, they match up. Probably has to do with sync between different servers, etc

Nothing to worry about.  It happens in DT, SS and 123RF and probably other sites but it always synchronizes in the end.

I have no reason not to trust 123

No reason to not trust the agency.  All agencies have some degree of time lag between their various server updates. Some more than others, but certainly nothing to cause any concern.  Unless there is some major problem, everything will sync within a few hours or a day at the most.

Okay guys but my thought is: if we work in an extremely automated system, almost without personal relationship, this system must work in extremely perfect, straight and transparent way. If not, trust would be undermined. the Agencies have to work on this.

My last payout was in July.  I've had a couple of sales since then.  The "your balance" at the top right of the page says "0".  Should that be showing the total of my sales that can be paid to me, or is that somewhere else?

Sean, I could be mistaken, but I believe those are numbers for buyers, not contributors.  The "S" link is labeled subscription downloads and the "C" link is labeled credits remaining.  I find the contributor sales on the earnings page which you have to access from the menu at the bottom of the page (after entering one of those silly CAPTCHA screens).

When I first signed up to 123 was very frustrated that my "earnings" in "your balance" was stubbornly stuck at zero. Then I looked somewhere else and discovered I was doing quite nicely. Think RF is probably the worst designed and certainly buggiest interface but I don't think there's any dishonesty there.

The problem is that people at 123RF don't understand that their site is buggy.

Yep, their site is buggy. Remember the person who steal images on the site and then put those images on torrents website.

I can't find where to see which images have sold.

In spite of starting my port several years ago, I have completely neglected it until recently, so I consider myself a 100% newbie.  Only today did I find that I have actually had a couple of sales. I can see how many and for how much, but where do I find which images?

Sorry if this has an obvious answer. Mr. Obvious is not available to me right now, though, so I came here :)

Go to "sell image" and clic on "download" button in the two column menu
