123rf has been a pretty slow earner for me so far. It was certainly a nice surprise to see two tiff files sold in one day :)

Congratulations goldenangel! I wish you many more!

Goldenangel, you are right. Sales are so rare at 123rf that each time something sells there we should start new topic. ;)
-
Unfortunately, that has been true for me for 123rf. My earninigs there have been on the same level with my earnings on Zymmetrical and Mostphotos.
-
My sales at 123rf were low and flat ($15-20) for the last 1.5 years despite growing portfolio; and in the last 2-3 months it's became even worse. Only once or twice I had an EL sale...

this month, 123rf brings me more money than Dreamstime! Sales are never better on 123rf (and never worse on DT)
-
That's good Peter. I'm glad 123rf is working for some people. :)
-
Lately I got a lot of very low credits here, like $0.20 for subscription and 0.60 for print size sale. It makes 1 credit=0.20$ !
-
Just had 8 of my first 10 accepted. Should I continue?

Warren, for me the earnings are comparable to BigStock and return per download is less than a dollar. However, 123rf is very easy to upload to so the additional effort is minimal. I would say go for it and see how it goes.
-
REALLY!!! I just discovered the XP uploader. Even easier than FTP. I wish everyone would use this. I'll upload a hundred images and see what happens.
Thanks,
-
Last year, I used to get $20-50 per month, this year, most months were in single digit. Very disappointing.
-
Congrats, GA!
I didn't have a single sale in 123RF so far this month.

Madelaide, I seen that you have images over at sutterpoint,I've been thinking of joining the site but before I do I wanted to know if you make many sales? Hope you don't mind me asking.
Thanks

gbc,
I've had sales at SP more than enough to pay the storage and to have a few payouts (I haven't been paying storage lately though). It hasn't been comparable to the microstock sites, sales are small. All the images are available for what they cal "full license", which is similar to the extended license of micros. You can opt to sell them also as "standard license", which is like microstock. You can set your price for FL, but SL are set by the site according to the sizes - 800x600 is only 99c, much cheaper than micros where it runs around US$2-3. Some images I only sell at FL.
My main issue with SP is that it has no inspection at all, so people upload any crap to it. A lot of members are people that have just started in photography and don't really know what they are doing, although on occasions you find a newbie with a great eye and soon they learn. The rating system, which I consider as an attempt to make a no-cost inspection, is always sibject to discussion and complaints.
SP is also good for more artistic images - some members sell them well.
(sorry GA for diverting in your thread)

Thank you Adelaide! And thank you for sharing information about shutterpoint. It is always useful to learn about other venues to sell.

123RF earned 2.13$ for me this month, 40$ in April. I don't know what's going on there.

The same for me, this month.

Good agency with a bit too low prices for subscriptions as someone said pretty even with BigStock... Also they've locked their forum... I really don't know why, but it is a bit unprofesional to have forum locked - either they should remove forum either unlock it.
It is a bit slower in May than in April... But, for me it works quite slow - 2-3 months to payout... Still no EL there ;-)

123 has been dead for me also,I haven't had a sale so far this month.

Someone must be doing a book or something on jellyfish. I sold one too. Jellyfish aren't my best sellers as you can imagine.
