Search-engine like SS and customerbase like Crestock ??? They were dead for a long time til I uploaded about 100 images. Got a few sales, and now they´re dead again. Don´t tell me I have to upload constantly there...
-
I do upload constantly there and still sales are dropping like a rock. I think they have been gradually losing their (small to start with) market share.
It is barely worth bothering with them anymore. If their upload system weren't extremely easy I would have cut them lose.

What do you mean dropping like a rock? I mean ,I only get maybe two a month with almost 500 images. I know you have a larger file content.

Very true. Apart of the good upload system, they're just not worthy. I wonder why is there a "big 6" instead of a "big 5". Or 4.

I suggest we get busy and remove our images from dead or dying sites like 123RF. I don't want companies like this to go out of business while in possesssion of my images. When a business goes under, all assets get unloaded at fire sale prices and no questions are asked.

Agreed. I don't know what has happened, but I've never seen such a drastic drop in sales in such a short period of time. But uploading there is extremely easy, so I'll continue on for now.

Does anyone know how to close an account at 123RF?

I left them about 2 months ago. They told me to manually delete all of my files first, and then they would close the account. Plan on a long process. You can only bulk delete images uploaded on the same day.

I just hunted around for 10 minutes and couldn't even figure out how to delete an image.
Maybe I should just wait the 1,000 years it would take to get a payout.

Agree. I've just deleted all my images from there

They refused to delete images, I had to do it myself.
With this link you can delete images faster:

I had a pretty decent month with 123rf last month and am sticking with them for now. They certainly did better for me than Bigstock, which really does seem to be dying a slow death, which is a shame as I have a lot of respect for Dawn and Tim. But new site improvement for photogs there just don't mean much if there are falling sales.

I believe the only Big 7 agency which will willingly delete your images for you is BigStock, but only because you cannot delete them yourself. It's a long, boring process. Plan ahead, and Start early. Get yourself a pizza, and a large supply of caffeinated beverages. That's my advice.

Weird. My experience is exactly the opposite.
My typically slow sales at 123 are dwindling away to nearly nothing this month, while my sales at Big Stock are finally showing some signs of life.
