Hello everybody,
I just sent a message to 123RF about low sales... Do you have similar situation with this site? I am really curious the reason... Specially compare with other sites...
"Dear responsible,
I would like to stress on low sales with my portfolio around 300 images + some footage with around 10$ sales seems like a joke for me. Compare with my time not producing images but uploading time, key wording etc. seems have a very poor return in $. (Compare with other stock sites) So i decide to upload min images for your site as soon as revenue start to increase logically.
Maybe 300 images is not important for you but i just wanted you to know what is happening.
Thank you for your understanding and attention."

10$ with 300 images on 123RF is not bad at all.
I am between $40 and $70 with 2000 images.

With the ever increasing collection sizes at micro stock agencies the eroding of sales will get worse and worse over a short time. I agree with Ron, if you are making $10 with 300 images against, say, 20 million images then you are doing well. I have 3000 images with some videos and I do about $70-$100 a month there. But I have to keep uploading just to maintain that. Growing my revenue is next to impossible in micro stock. I would suspect that if I added 3000 more images to 123 (or any other micro) I would see not a whole lot in return.

Over 1000 images here and I'm lucky if I see $5 :'(

I averaged around $21 a month there last year with around 1000 images, so you are doing well to make $10 with 300 (compared to me at least). The sad thing is that in 2012 I made a lot more than that with only half as many images. 123 used to get a lot of positive buzz and was really up and coming. Then they instituted that horrible RC system and killed it for submitters and are now hardly worth the bother. It's too bad because they were really doing well for a while and increasing every year. I would certainly not encourage anyone new to submit there - 22 cents or whatever it is for a level 1 subscription sale is way too low. I only submit there a few times a year when I have a backlog of previous images - would rather have them indexed elsewhere first. At least submitting is easy and you don't have to waste time with categories. It's really a shame when people take a successful business and kill it, although I guess if it puts more money in the pockets of the owners then it is positive for them.

Well they dont kill it for themselves, the whole RC system is to benefit the agency.

Good as ever!

123rf on the up for me. Again can't work out why?

Still more than double on DT...
I am few dollars from position switch between DT and 123RF...

Currently my second best earner, behind SS of course. Unusual but a nice welcome since SS & FT were down for me in previous months. Nice to see at least one agency showing some potential.

agree, one of my top earners.

A refreshing revival for 123RF!
Not only the daily regular sales are up, but today, I just sold my first CEL+300MB TIFF, earning 40% of 550 credits.
Not bad, not bad at all!
