It was suddenly down $39.01 yesterday.

So I have checked both 2014 and 2015. And 18 files are gone from July '14, 9 files gone from Sept '14, 27 files gone from Dec '14, and 9 files gone from this month.
Shouldn't they have let us know when the returned sales are this many? I find it very strange that they just deduct all this from our earnings balance without even notifying us.
Anyway, I wrote them an email before I noticed I had to look all the way back to July 2014.

I hope the rest of you haven't lost much, but I guess it can't be just me...

More money deducted.
I have now lost for January through May 2014 also. Can they actually return sales for files downloaded more than a year ago?
I have written them another email - waiting for a reply.

No one else?

Yes I saw that. For some reason my RC (or rank, whatever that is) dropped by 500 points. I don't know why as my sales haven't dropped.

Wow...they just responded this:

            Total
                                           0.01
                                         97.67
 Total Overpayment - Underpayment   -   97.66"

Just that they call it overpayment when a lot of downloads are gone as well. And finding out two years later. And so far, it seems to be happening only to me....
And with no explanation before I emailed them and asked. Hmmm..........

Everything okay here. Sad that they're pulling an iStock on you.

In August 2014 they had some over/under corrections, but they notified contributors that they'd be doing it. They didn't provide details unless you asked (which I think is wrong; we should get a full accounting, including why we were over or under paid).

In my case the made the corrections but in doing so overlooked a refund that they took out of my account during the time I was an iStock exclusive, so I then got another deduction for that screw-up.

In many cases the amounts were one cent - I guess that must have been a rounding error? In others it was $1.24 or 88 cents, which is harder to explain unless it's a refund.

I suggest you let support know that deductions without an explanatory e-mail are not acceptable. Support is always polite and helpful when you contact them, but adjusting earnings without any explanation is just a policy that should be changed.

Thank you for your answers!
I just wrote them and demanded more information... I was quite angry in the mail actually ;-) It just can't be overpayment when my number of downloaded files has gone down so drasticly as well.

Anyway, I am glad it didn't happen to all of you also!!
