Title: Moving watermark. Is it useful?
Post by: Alatriste on March 27, 2008, 13:32
Has anybody notice more traffic or better position in your images if you move the watermark?

Wich sites allow this?

When you do this, are you looking to remove the watermark from a point of interest of the image?

I try to remember to move it on Shutterstock if it's going to be over a model's eye or something - the eyes are so important in portraits....

otherwise I don't move it around too much.  Shutterstock is the easiest for sure - you do it right on upload before it's ever online.

yes when you upload the image on the right side under all the categories, MR stuff, etc - that whole menu SS has on the right side has a place for Watermark Placement.

Apart from 123RF, I don't know any micro that let you do that.  It's quite useful when you have an image with a very off-centered subject.
