Title: Problem with (new?) 123RF Partner
Post by: Fred on December 06, 2010, 08:02

Just saw a 123RF partner - new one perhaps - and really don't like the watermark situation there.  Writing 123RF support if you agree drop them a line.  I would really like to get this fixed.

Check your stuff at this link:  http://www.stockpodium.com/en/ (http://www.stockpodium.com/en/)

I just sent them an email. If they will not improve their watermark, I'll ask 123rf to delete my images from that partner site.

Is there any way to deactive images/portfolio on 123RF?

I addressed this issue directly with stockpodium, and received a pretty swift response:

Please excuse us for the inconvenience caused.

We actually start reselling images from 123RF in a few weeks and pretty soon we will have our watermark on the images (according to 123RF resale terms).

To handle the situation right now we just started using the watermarks of 123RF again. Please confrim that everything looks OK now at your side as well.

Thanks for the valuable and timely feedback and hope you will get lots of downloads/money thanks to our service.

It seems they have, already, placed a 123rf watermark over the images. A positive experience!

Thank you so much Corepics.  All looks fine now.  Thanks too to Stockpodium, if they're looking in...

I also wrote them and got the same reply this morning. I appreciate their response and quick action.

Ah, I wondered why I was seeing watermarks and others weren't...  Fast response.  Nice to see this :)

123RF port deleted, request to delete profile sent and meagre balance earnings forfeited. Bye, bye, 123RF.

Did 123rf delete the portfolio by request or did you have to do it manually?
I just reached a payout.   With seemingly decreasing commissions and arrogant attitude toward contributors, Might be best time to bail on this site.

My thoughts exactly, the low sales were just not worth the hassle.

You have to delete the images manually (I only had a few, so I did not mind). From 123RF:

Thank you for your email. There are some procedures you need to adhere to:
   1. Log into your account at www.123rf.com (http://www.123rf.com)
   2. Go to your UPLOAD HISTORY
   3. Browse through all your images
   4. Check DELETE THIS PHOTO for all your photographs and click the SAVE CHANGES button.
   5. Please kindly send us an email clearly stating:

    * Your Full Name
    * Your 123RF User ID
    * And that you request and authorize us to remove your profile from 123rf.com and delete all your images with us.
    * That you wish to terminate the 123RF Contributor Agreement and agree to the Terms and Conditions as set in the Contributor Agreement for the termination process.
Please note that your balance earnings will be forfeited based on our agreement policy which you have accepted during the account registration.
