I uploaded some files that had been accepted everywhere! in micro and RF. Reason: wanted to test the reviewing, wanted to figure out if 123, treated reviewing as a human process.
Im now totally convinced, they actually switch on some sort of automated reviewing program, whereby the program cant tell the differance between various technical aspects of lightning-techniques, cant tell the differance between toning and White-balance, etc.
When I finally did upload a file which I knew  well was slightly poor in lightning, it was accepted.

So whats this supposed to be?  the joke of the centuary? scewing around with peoples time?

Ive had enough of this amateurish poor editing business, they are treating it with arrogance and then they can jolly well sit there with the automations. The site is a joke, MRs are forever getting stuck, no OK buttons, leaving you to switch between pages, etc.

The reviewing is the worst of all sites, automated reviewing that really can only figure and review generic stuff. Also shows in their portfolio, you really have to look hard to find anything creative.
Same with a friend of mine, also like myself an IS-diamond, also put it to test and same stupid result. we are out of it.

I've never had much of a problem with them, better than a lot of sites.  They have a high acceptance rate.  I don't need MR's and that helps.  I also try and upload small batches.  Every site seems to have occasional bad reviews and it's much better with small batches.  They have their quirks, as do all the other sites but overall, I find their reviews are fair.

I find their MR process the easiest of all the sites and never had a problem with refusals. Sales for me are about the same as bigstock so if you do well there then they are worth persevering with.

Yeah Im doing OK with them, its the reviewing, automated, I cant stand. In retro you cant tone or use duplex methods since their programs will read it as WB faults.

My MRs, are always falling off when flicking between their pages. Ive got over 200 dhots with engineers, workers, etc, where the MRs, hasnt stuck but simply disapeared when going back to edit-page.

So are mine, jeez!  Ive been a studio photographer as well for over 20 years. I have so much powerful studio flash I could easily light up a football arena.

Never had a rejection for lighting there, had a few for similars but generally speaking I find their review process a breeze including the MR process.

Somehow I always liked 123RF, first of all because they don't have categories, second because of a high acceptance rate, and third because of decent sales.
Only once I had to write to support to ask for a re-review.

Just out of curiosity what do you consider "decent sales"?

Decent sales for me everything that is better than 50% of Dreamstime, and 123RF oscillates from 50% - 70% of DT sales from month to month. At least fot me 123RF was always way better than Fotolia.

I personally have not had a good experience with them. Bigstock sales are 10 times better than 123RF. I maybe get two small sales out of 123 a month if I'm lucky. The sad thing is they always rejected the ones that iStock, Dreamstime, Shutterstock and Bigstock accepted and I have good sales on, so the port I have there is mainly a non selling port. I gave up uploading a long time ago. It's their loss as well as mine. Just waiting for payout and then I'm gone.

thats incredible, the changes between contributors, ok portfolio, buyers and so on but I have like 5 to 10 sales a month at BigStock and on 123RF I got like 60

I really think it has a lot to do with content also and where you are. What part of the world are you from? I'm in the US

For me BigStock is incredibly slow... Amazing how sites work differently for different photographers

123rf earns about 20% of what dreamstime does for me. Basically same portfolio on each

same for me re compared to DT, DT is slowly dropping each month, 123 growing, (FT is better than DT for me), BigStock is about 50-70% of 123RF

Sales for me on 123 are the same as BS.  However, 123 sales were dismal compared to BigStock until I went in and put 10 percent of my port into FAVES.  If you haven't done this you should.  I saw decent ramp up in sales, something like 25%.

Is it 5%? My mistake.  Either way it helps to some extent, more so with larger ports.  I have about 2500 images.

true! the fav pictures are the ones that get downloaded (at least more times)

Oh yes, I forgot about "Faved". I always add new images in the faved folder, and those images have most downloads. And from time to time, if I see that some image doesn't have enough downloads even it's placed in there, I exclude it from faved, and add a new one.

Can you still do that? Last time I looked I couldn't see anything to click on to remove a previous "fave". Maybe it moved or am I missing something? Regards, David.

Yes you can still do that. When on the my fave images page, make sure you click "My Fave Images" and not the "My Images" to remove favourite images, then go back to "my images" to add new ones.
