Hi!

Let's assume what I earn at DT, IS, StockXpert and SS is 100%. 123RF is only 10%, BigStock is 30%. Meantime I earn the same amount at Crestock, ScandinavianStockPhoto, etc. like at 123RF.

My wife is doing this business and a lot of my friends, they have the similar income percent.

The question is: is there something special to do at 123RF or I simply upload and wait for downloads? I think here about lightboxes, forum activity, faved members, blogs, etc., etc.

I was wondering the same thing.
Two years ago they were in my personal top 5... then when the cream stock photogs discovered 123 they plunged to the bottom.
Currently they are are second last place, been there for almost 18 months.. so yes, i'm also wondering why they are included in the Big 6.

ps : if by the end of the year they do not produce at least 100 dollar (71 euro by current rate) i stop uploading till they manage to deliver.

As you can see, everything is in numbers...

If we want" big 6" (isn't big difference between position 5 and 6, but between 6 and 7 is much bigger) we need to include last one on position number six...

When BigStock or CS will have more ratings than 123RF will be different...

P.S.

In my case only SS deserve to be BIG...

IS,FT,DT  have similar percentage for now...

Well, I most certainly have much more from 123 than from BigStock or from Istock. This month e.g. I have about 45% of my earning from SS, 10% from SX, 8% FT, 8% DT, 7% 123, 2% BigStock and about the same (2%) from IS, the rest is from CR, SV, CAN and SCAN together. I think this will differ according to the type of folio everyone has. I believe for many people 123 belongs to the Big 6.

I make over 2 K per month in stock.... hardly make 100 dollar at 123.. in fact.. for the past two years never went over 100 dollar.
The bigger my port, the lesser sales.

I got big 3 only:
SS - 80%
123RF - 10%
StockXpert - 10%

everything else is a joke.

I am afraid I must agree to this! This time last year I had about 1/10 of my current portfolio. But I do not have ten times bigger sales now - no way!!! It really is: the more I upload, the less I sell.

Same here, I make over 3k a month on 7 sites and I've never made over 100$ a month on either 123rf or bigstockphoto.

I hope that statement is a joke. If not, you're seriously missing out on some additional income.

How is it possible that IS has less revenues than 5 %...!?

I think that something is wrong with my IS account because it gives me only about 10 %...

123rf is my 4th earner, three times better that BigStock or StockXpert. My rank is:
1. SS
2. DT (three times less than SS)
3. IS (six time less than SS)
4. 123RF (8 times less than SS)
5. FT (16 times less than SS)
6. StockXpert and BigStock (24 times less than SS)

The rest is far below

Unfortunately I am serious. I was able to able to post whopping 64 images in 5 months on IS while at the same time I got over 1000 at SS and StockXpert.  Weekly limits and 2 week review time is probably part of my problem. The other part is subject matter which is not really stockish ;-)

Everything seems to fit the pattern, that different people have different results, but the top five are still the same top five. I can understand ignoring IS because of the time and upload limits. I've ready enough messages from experience Micro Stockers to explain why some people have become frustrated with FT rejections.

My only question is why don't you submit to DT? It appears to be a good earner for almost everyone, whether it's number three or number five, it's still up there with the three you have decided to concentrate on working with. Why have you decided against DT?

Must have historical reasonst. 123 gives me an insignificant share of my MS-income. I am considering dropping it competely and letting the sun shine on my belly instead which given the current time of year is much more valuable to me.

Currently YTD. 123 has been consistently good for me this year. I'll drop FP end of month.

SS  33%
123 14%
DT  14%
BigStock 12%
IS    10%
FT     9%
SX     5%
FP      2%
