When did 123RF start giving 18 cents for earnings on small size credit sales? I had three of those today. Yesterday, I had a small credit sale and earned 39.6 cents. I'm on Level 4.

As for the earnings, there are a few factors that determine the amount you receive from your sales.
• Your tier level ( currently you are at level 2 )
• Price per credit used to acquire your content
Formula:
(price per credit X your TIER % ) Credits worth for your Content = What you get
Eg: Price per credit = 0.68 USD, Your TIER = Level 3 @40% , Size purchased = M (2 Credits worth)
Calculation: (0.68USD X 40%)2 = 0.544 USD
Hence with the calculation, how would you know whether the calculation is correct? Why the earning is so low compared to the other?
Sometimes, in order to remain competitive, we have to give certain amount of discounts to the client. However, when it comes to your earning, we have a price threshold that we will not go below. Anything below will be absorbed by 123rf to maintain the threshold earning to be paid to you.
You could do a reverse calculation to check:
Formula:
Your earnings / Content Credits Worth = earning Per Credit. Then, use the threshold chart to compare.
Eg:
Earning for a M size Image = 0.544 USD
Reverse Calculation:-
0.544 / 2 = 0.272 per credit
Please check these threshold based on the chart:-

Your earning for image #14xxxxxx in S size, is $0.217.
This is above the Tier Threshold of $ 0.14.

Look on the bright side once you make level 10 you will get a whopping 33% increase which is $.24 ;)

Yes. Almost all the sites do this (give a percentage of the price actually paid, net of discounts). It means that we "share" in any discounting they do. I think at iStock the lowest anyone has so far seen was a 7 cent royalty for an XS sale :)
