does anyone know how many RC one gets for an LEL? or if it is variable is there any way to determine how many one gets for each one.

I was wondering the same thing, so I logged into their "Online Help" .  Well, the person I talked to wasn't much "help".  At first he didn't have a clue what I was talking about.  So I gave him a link to the commission structure page.  He said I had 22 LEL's last month for a grand total of 110 credits.  I then asked if that meant that they were worth 5 credits each.  His reply:

"I can't confirm on that, most probably or the credits on each image is different too depending on the usage declared

3:21 pm If you want me to investigate further, i will. But i need to check with the IT support

Cause i don't have the access to check on LEL downloads."

Sounds to me like you get the amount of credits that the credit-tally-person is in the mood to give you.  One more nail in the 123 coffin for me....you guys are already off my upload list and I am considering deleting everything.

Just in case anyone is wondering about this...
It's now been 6 days and the promised "follow up e-mail" to answer my question about LEL credits has yet to appear in my in-box.  Big surprise there.  I'm thinking maybe a dart board with various credit amounts......

I have just received $3.50 for an LEL. It makes me mad knowing someone has an any type of extended license and I just get that much for it. I have earned the same for TIFF image downloads.  >:(

I think, based on what they've said to date, that it's more accurate to think of this as a type of RM license, not a royalty free plus something extra of an EL. As such, if the rights granted are small, a smaller price seems OK to me. Some examples of what 123rf has said:

Thank you Jo Ann.

I wrote to them and they wrote back almost immediately with an explanation of what an LEL is used for.

They said: "LEL is a specially negotiated license that allows the Client to use the Content for one (1) specific (declared) use. It's negotiated upon request and varies from client to client. The 3.50USD earning download is from a 10 credits limited size and usage terms deal where the content is used for 1 specific usage based on the agreement."

This makes sense to me and I appreciated their quick reply. It would be interesting to know what the image is being used for.
