Title: What happen this month with credit sales?
Post by: Alatriste on June 17, 2008, 14:59
This month I am having much more subscription sales at 123 and less credit sales (only 2 at the moment).
Has anyone noticed this??

Nothing different this month for me. This year so far, 123rf typically has as many credit sales as subs sales (with the $$ value of the credit sales over twice that of the subs).

About half and half here which is pretty much the same as usual.

Usual for me - about 50-50. May was great with much more credits than subs sales. Earnings per download in credits however showed a good increase. Still, too many subs, and I've not been uploading my "best" images there. Again, I wished they would let us opt out.

Adelaide

Since April I'm having 60% subs / 40% credit

Before it used to be more like 30/70...

But my revenues are up (I get 2x more there than with FT)

... and next mont will be 20/80, and so on...

The only way to deal with that is to stop uploading or leaving the sites that haven't opt-out for pennies subs sales. However, that's something that can't be done through "calls to weapons", associations, lists, petitions etc... It's a natural an unavoidable way that many contributors will take silently when realizing that these kind of sales are eating the credit sales while decreasing their income and, probablaby, decreasing too sites earnings and margins to invest on promotion. This process can last one or two years but, at the end, sub-sites will have mostly sub-images, and a majority of the better photographers will be found elsewhere. And with them will go many costumers.

40% sub, 60% credit - although it has fluctuated a little over the last couple of mos. (closer to 50-50)
