Some examples, but also noticed it with MANY of my own files. It has been a problem for months:

https://www.123rf.com/photo_186438816_cute-cartoon-orange-dinosaur-with-butterflies-on-a-blue-background.html?

https://www.123rf.com/photo_186435830_kids-party-halloween-costume-childrens-masquerade.html?

(these are recent uploads so could be a database updating thing, but I have work that has been blank for months/ years).

How are they running a site when buyers can't even see a lot of the content? I know a LOT of own best sellers have been black for months and my income is decimated. Has any one else checked through their portfolio and noticed similar?

Edit: removed links where images have appeared, they may be reading the post and fixing ad hoc

The links aren't to my portfolio, they are to several other people's who have the same problem. I am anonymous so wont post direct links.

I suggest everyone takes a look at their own portfolios. I have large chunks of images missing from mine and they have been for ages, and it looks like they stil haven't solved the issue; the linked images are new. Many of mine were best sellers. It seems to be all limages uploaded at certain time periods.

I first noticed when my income suddenly dropped by almost half.

The Kids party halloween image is also showing for me, now.

I think it's not a site-wide problem, or at least not for every visitor. My guess it that a lot of visitors are still able to see the 'missing' files.

I think they caught it this time round and have fixed the latest ones. They seem to be able to address individual file but unable to get the uppload system working in general.

I have hundreds of files going back 5+ years that have been showing the same black page for years and they are unable to fix it. They will sometimes fix the specific ones I list in any given email but never look through my portfolio and deal with the bigger issue.

EDIT: I think they have literally read this thread and fixed the ones I listed. All mine uploaded around the same time as these are still blank, dozens of files in this batch of disappearances.

I can only upload photos from their platform only, then they sit there for weeks on end and never get inspected. I can't upload anything via FTP. I shows me that the files are on their server, but there is no content at all when I look at their platform. From my point of view 123RF is a complete waste of time.

I was doing okay with them. But with all the repeated screw ups and inaction by their tech department and the refunds fiasco (possibly also down to their incompetent techs, but who knows) I just can't trust them any more. These agencies take such a big cut, they need to hold up their end and at least be passably competent. Shame.

I have always experienced 123 as technical wobbly in all manners. And as many say, not worth the trouble.
