123RF is performing great for me.  Every month is a new BME, including last month -- April -- when every other agency seemed to be down from March.  So far, it's giving me a lot of sales for May.

123rf has been increasing for me more or less every month for the past 2 years, but it did drop off quite a bit last month - not as many sales and those were mostly subs.  This month so far as well.  Not sure if it means anything as my port is still quite small, but it is interesting that things slowed down right after they announced the new commission cuts...

You don't say anything about your portfolio - size, age - or what you've been seeing in the past for sales. I've been seeing reasonably consistent sales at 123rf for many months with about 1700 images all uploaded since last summer.

Many changes in how search results are displayed occur - I don't track what's going on at 123rf, but if, for example, you have a relatively new portfolio and they skew the search towards older or best selling files, you could see sales tank as a result. Smaller the portfolio, the harder it is to see trends.

Consistent sales here too. they better be because if my commission rate goes down jan 2013 I'm out! unlike others I don't like to play the cat n mouse game with the agencies.

ps. lovely port Jo Ann ;)

Sales okay for me. I have around 800 pics on 1-2-3 RF and hope to hit the 1k mark by this month thus a slight drop in commission rate come Jan 2013. I don't agree with having to have 10k portfolio to keep the 50%. I think folks that have 10k in pics are about 5% of the microstock folks?

10k? ok am I missing something here, I thought the rate was based on earnings?

Checking right now  :-\

Update: yup, I have no idea where you got the 10k images from mate, care to explain?

Had great sales every month this year so far, but very alarmingly extremely few so far for May. I know it is early days, but this is the slowest start I had from 123RF the past 8 months (1380 port).  Any one else experiencing same?  ???

<yoda voice> turned to the dark side they have </yoda voice>

Actually sales for me have been better than last year, but they aren't anywhere near the 13.7 RC/day that they need to be.

Same for me, sales have been good and improving, but still needs to increase a bit to not be hurt by the royalty drop in Jan.

Hi all,

I have only one sale in May so far but my port is not so big(194 - 3D images and 11 video files). But what is bad for me is that insufficient watermark in my opinion.
Recently I've uploaded about 55 new images. All of them are gold and silver jewelry isolated on black background. Then after that my "Profile Views" is growing up rapidly but no sales at all on those new files. But what's more interesting for me that's all sales on other agencies have stopped as well.
I would be happy to hear from someone who has isolated on black images on 123rf?

Thank you all in advance.

I think you can adjust the watermark location on images..try to look for watermark option in your profile.

Thanks mtkang,

I did try to use this tool but it's not working for me. Here is one of my image: http://www.123rf.com/photo_13375825_flower-jewelry-ornament-made-from-metallic-seed-beads-isolated-on-black-background-beautiful-jewelry.html
It's just bad for me. I even think to delete all my images on black background which is sad.
