Also I don't like the way that everything is on sale even before you get to it. So for instance if you want to set some RF and some RM they will all be set to default and for sale.
Hmmmm, mine were set to RM, which is fine by me; but I didn't look to see whether that's changeable when you manage it. I guess it must be, or all files would be one type of licence.

But they're not actually 'on sale' before you manage the files.
Firstly, how would a buyer find the file without keywords or caption?
Secondly, again empirical evidence: I had two files accepted on Monday, 'managed' them, and got the message that they were 'on sale' - but they were not visible in my port, nor were they searchable, until Tuesday morning (in my timezone), as usual.
So, 'on sale' isn't any more literally accurate than 'discoverability' or saying you'll get a QC email "in 24 hours" (but in fact, not over the weekend!). Of course, they might be setting something else up for the future in which all three will be accurate.
Yes it is but you have be be very careful to make sure its doing what you think....using it for first time finding it difficult to get used to easy to slip up on things like multiple selections

I re-checked the images which were supposed to have good discoverbility, but many are still messed up. What a waste of time. I have no time to shoot and process new images because of the system.

And, as has been previously reported, because the old system made you list key words three times, all three sections are being combined.

I have noticed that, after the new design changing, some of my image captions have disappeared.
Only me?

Same here. And on some it appears that for some unknown reason I have double keywords.

From Alamy: "Double tags would have been brought over from the old system, as you would have had duplicates in the different keyword fields (Essential, Main & Comprehensive)."

I saw that but as far as I can remember I never put same keywords in both. I might be wrong

...
E.g. I promoted a keyword to a supertag, then it dropped in the search!
Obviously one trial proves nothing, so I'll do more, but ALWAYS DO YOUR OWN TESTING.

And that file which was #6 out of 603 and dropped to #7 after promoting the supertag is now down at #42 on the search for the keyword phrase I promoted to a supertag.

I guess I should call a halt to working on my files until we find out what's really happening, rather than what we're told is happening.

Well it's still zero sales for me in 2017. Can't be bothered uploading some decent images if they don't sell anymore.

I had a new batch with some double keywords...next batch was Ok not sure if it was a glitch. I find the categories annoying if you are going to do it at least have a sensible range this is so 1/2 a*sed.  "discoverability" = invitation to keyword spam...gimmick. On the whole an improvement on the previous system.

Many of my top keywords that I originally selected in the old system have not been included in the supertags which makes more work. Also there are duplicates that haven't been flagged by their system. Other sites will not let you enter the same keyword twice but Alamy has no detection. What is also annoying is when editing one set of keywords, you have to go back and manually uncheck the last file you have been working on otherwise the two will be combined in the edit.
