What are the agencies similar to Alamy where I can sell RM images without exclusivity?
-
Nobody?
-
You would need to go to a Macro agency ...
-
Hi angelawaye,
Can you name a few?
-
A quick check on Google finds plenty ;)
Lots of them; but if you want to work in macro be prepared for the real hard work

Hello,
What exactly do you mean by "...if you want to work in macro be prepared for the real hard work."?

What is it that you shoot? Midstock/Macro tend to cater to specific niches.

Search for what? Can't anyone here give a straight answer? Name a few good macro agencies or how to find them?

Here's a list I put together about a month ago :)

Thanks a lot! This is a very useful list ;)
I tend to shot mostly travel, as I am a digital nomad (with a different main source of income than microstock ;) ) and I'm traveling most of the time.

Me too.:)
In this case, for travel images, I would recommend 4corners and Robert Harding. Also, I'm trying out Water Rights for my water-related images.
Good luck!

Thanks for the tip.
I see you have lots of editorials on SS. Do they sell well?
I usually upload editorials to Alamy and put them on sale as RM.

Most editorials don't sell well, with the exception of the refugee shots I took in Budapest Sept 2015. I'll only upload boring run of the mill editorials on Shutter, but very reluctantly, since I should be waiting for them to sell on Alamy (RF) but it does take a long long time.
If the editorial is "premium" I'll upload them on Alamy as RM (Live News if it's breaking news). I've also started uploading to Rex Features for live news, which Shutter owns.
A lot of it lately has been trial and error and still trying to get a hang of which types of images go best where!
