Can not get into the site for nearly 24 hours now? Anyone else have better luck, or are they down? ???
OK, got in now, but not with Firefox, with Internet Explorer....?

Working for me. When in doubt the common answers apply. Sorry if this is the obvious and you already did it.
Have you tried page reload arrow?
Try this:
TOOLS > Advanced > Network > Clear Now

Alamy is working fine here, FF latest version.

It seems to be line speed problem - resolved now. Seems like IE can get Alamy to load with less bandwidth or its timeout is set longer. Thank you for the tips.

Strange because of the three browsers I use, IE is the slowest and worst. I like FF for features and I'm familiar with it. But if I go to FaceBook Google Chrome flies! Better caching of old data is my guess.
I have computers which I used IE remover so it doesn't even exist on the system. That's how much I don't want that buggy, bloated, software, which is more susceptible to attacks.
Did you know there's an IE mode in FireFox? I think it's an emulator or something, (addin named IE Tab) haven't really needed it except on bank page. But there is a choice.

Install it and then you can view that website in IE Tab. Long way to go for one site. Maybe Alamy will fix itself tomorrow. Good Luck!
FF also has a Java and flash blocker that I love. Instead of loading some animation or aggravating flashing, moving graphic, I get a little arrow. If I want to see it, I click, if not I can ignore. Flash Blocker and Script blocker, two of my favorites!

PS. RacePhoto: I am also a big Firefox fan - keep IE on the side for testing, like the one time the ADSTOP stopped normal PHP script activated buttons as well - IE helped me to resolve it, as it worked without problems on IE, so I knew it had to be FF or one of its add-ons and noting else.

I did. It is not a bug. It was purely my line speed (or rather available bandwidth) that dropped to low. Alamy takes up a lot of bandwidth with its initial load (seems more than most others). Therefore I could load other sites. Loading Alamy took therefore longer and caused a time out. I have not investigated this, but my guess is that IE handles the required resources in this instance better, or has a longer default timeout, which allowed it to load the login page. When available bandwidth increased, the problem disappeared.
So I guess my advice, if you get a similar problem (which I doubt, as I have a very slow line - 386kbps), stop any other internet activity, like uploads/downloads, and try to access the site again.
