Title: Alamy messes with my head
Post by: stockastic on July 17, 2015, 17:47
My earnings in 2014 were just a fraction of 2013 so I decided that I'd just close the account at the end of the year.  But right at the start of 2015, I got a couple of sales.  Wow, I thought.

Needless to say, absolutely nothing since then.  It was just a trick, to get me to start checking the account again, every day, waiting for that next sale....

I get one sale per year.... so I don't check in very often  ;D after a sale I do some more uploads.

Upload more images that buyers want and you sell more.  It isn't that hard if I can do it  :)  The harder I work, the luckier I get.

Having one of my BME there - couple of sales - including one I mentioned earlier for $400. It's encouraged me to upload more. Averaging a little less than 2 sales/month this year with 700+ files.

Last couple of years my average RPD had gone down to about $30-40. This year most are $70-85 and some for more. Not back to the days of $100-150 average RPD but at least it's moving up. Travel, editorial and concept stuff.
