Nice sale!

England or US but could be many other smaller countries. How much was the sale price on Alamy?

Airline in flight magazine? Looks like a monthly publication somewhere? And I liked the "print only" part, so you know they aren't double dipping and using it on the web too.

Really? And who will check?...

I don't think it's an inflight magazine as usually they name the airline's country: for example, I sold a photo for LAN and the country, in fact, was Chile, though LAN is flying in many countries.

Nope, they can put it on their online version even if it says print only. I had that confirmed by Member Support and in the forums.
Makes no sense to me, but there you have it.

Oops, I stand corrected. I assumed what I was reading was a fact. Slippery little fact is I was wrong.

RM example:

Country: United States
Usage: Editorial
Media: Textbook - print only
Industry sector: Media Industry
Sub-Industry: Publishing
Print run: up to 5,000
Placement: Inside
Image Size: 2 page spread
Start: 01 September 2009
End: 01 September 2012

I don't have any idea who bought it, and never will. $88 commission instead of 33 cents, should I be worrying?

RF:

52 MB
7500 x 2406 pixels
4 MB compressed

For $120 commission, I'm very pleased.

Now if I was getting the $8 wonders that some people get, I might question it all. Lowest Editorial was $65 (one special use in Slovak Republic $15.67, which I assume is valued according to the market it's sold for) lowest RF was $40. I'm very happy to get something for these images that respects the time and effort I put into them. Keep in mind, as always with me, nothing on Micro goes to Alamy. And nothing on Alamy gets sold RF on Micro! Still averaging $80 commission on Alamy. Smiling all over with that statistic.

What kind of price did the license go for stefano?

Where abouts can you see who bought the image and where it will be used?  I've been looking around for ages and can't find it.

My Alamy > Summary of items sold.
You won't see exactly who bought the image, obviously.
You'll see something like:
Country: France
Usage: Editorial
Media: Textbook - print only
Print run: up to 100,000
Placement: Inside
Image Size: 1/2 page
Start: 01 September 2012
End: 01 September 2015
You'll also see the gross price, then you'll need to check your Balance of Account to see if it was an Alamy direct sale (60% to you) or a distributor sale (40% to you).

I don't know if I'm being dense or what but when I got to Summary of items sold I get columns of all my sales
Alamy ref    Your ref    Pseudonym    Date purchased / refunded    Licence    Details    Amount
but nothing that tells me any information about its usage.
Or is it just RM sales that put the info as mine are all rf?

I don't know; but it seems likely, as RF won't have a 'usage', that being the nature of the beast.

I posted one of each in the example. RF has bare minimum data and RM has some better details, but not a clue as to who bought it. Most of mine say "text book" which is funny for motorsports and car images. I guess they have to hit something for whatever they are doing and making only 5000 copies?
